| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [4:89] | Waddoo law takfuroona kama kafaroofatakoonoona sawaan fala tattakhithoo minhumawliyaa hatta yuhajiroo fee sabeeliAllahi fa-in tawallaw fakhuthoohum waoqtuloohumhaythu wajadtumoohum wala tattakhithoominhum waliyyan wala naseeran |  ودوا لو تكفرون كما كفروا فتكونون سواء فلا تتخذوا منهم أولياء حتى يهاجروا في سبيل الله فإن تولوا فخذوهم واقتلوهم حيث وجدتموهم ولا تتخذوا منهم وليا ولا نصيراوَدُّواْ لَوْ تَكْفُرُونَ كَمَا كَفَرُواْ فَتَكُونُونَ سَوَاءً فَلاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ مِنْهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ حَتَّى يُهَاجِرُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْاْ فَخُذُوهُمْ وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ وَجَدتُّمُوهُمْ وَلاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ مِنْهُمْ وَلِيًّا وَلاَ نَصِيرًا | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ (منافق تو) یہ تمنا کرتے ہیں کہ تم بھی کفر کروجیسے انہوں نے کفر کیا تاکہ تم سب برابر ہو جاؤ۔ سو تم ان میں سے (کسی کو) دوست نہ بناؤ یہاں تک کہ وہ اللہ کی راہ میں ہجرت (کر کے اپنا ایمان اور اخلاص ثابت) کریں، پھر اگر وہ روگردانی کریں تو انہیں پکڑ لو اور جہاں بھی پاؤ انہیں قتل کر ڈالو اور ان میں سے (کسی کو) دوست نہ بناؤ اور نہ مددگار | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks;-

[9:5] | Fa-itha insalakha al-ashhuru alhurumufaoqtuloo almushrikeena haythu wajadtumoohum wakhuthoohumwaohsuroohum waoqAAudoo lahum kulla marsadinfa-in taboo waaqamoo alssalatawaatawoo alzzakata fakhalloo sabeelahum innaAllaha ghafoorun raheemun | فإذا انسلخ الأشهر الحرم فاقتلوا المشركين حيث وجدتموهم وخذوهم واحصروهم واقعدوا لهم كل مرصد فإن تابوا وأقاموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة فخلوا سبيلهم إن الله غفور رحيم فَإِذَا انسَلَخَ الْأَشْهُرُ الْحُرُمُ فَاقْتُلُواْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ حَيْثُ وَجَدتُّمُوهُمْ وَخُذُوهُمْ وَاحْصُرُوهُمْ وَاقْعُدُواْ لَهُمْ كُلَّ مَرْصَدٍ فَإِن تَابُواْ وَأَقَامُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَوُاْ الزَّكَاةَ فَخَلُّواْ سَبِيلَهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر جب حرمت والے مہینے گزر جائیں تو تم (حسبِ اعلان) مشرکوں کو قتل کر دو جہاں کہیں بھی تم ان کو پاؤ اور انہیں گرفتار کر لو اور انہیں قید کر دو اور انہیں (پکڑنے اور گھیرنے کے لئے) ہر گھات کی جگہ ان کی تاک میں بیٹھو، پس اگر وہ توبہ کر لیں اور نماز قائم کریں اور زکوٰۃ ادا کرنے لگیں تو ان کا راستہ چھوڑ دو۔ بیشک اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت مہربان ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
