| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [13:17] | Anzala mina alssama-i maanfasalat awdiyatun biqadariha faihtamalaalssaylu zabadan rabiyan wamimma yooqidoonaAAalayhi fee alnnari ibtighaa hilyatinaw mataAAin zabadun mithluhu kathalika yadribuAllahu alhaqqa waalbatila faammaalzzabadu fayathhabu jufaan waamma mayanfaAAu alnnasa fayamkuthu fee al-ardi kathalikayadribu Allahu al-amthala |  أنزل من السماء ماء فسالت أودية بقدرها فاحتمل السيل زبدا رابيا ومما يوقدون عليه في النار ابتغاء حلية أو متاع زبد مثله كذلك يضرب الله الحق والباطل فأما الزبد فيذهب جفاء وأما ما ينفع الناس فيمكث في الأرض كذلك يضرب الله الأمثالأَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَسَالَتْ أَوْدِيَةٌ بِقَدَرِهَا فَاحْتَمَلَ السَّيْلُ زَبَدًا رَّابِيًا وَمِمَّا يُوقِدُونَ عَلَيْهِ فِي النَّارِ ابْتِغَاءِ حِلْيَةٍ أَوْ مَتَاعٍ زَبَدٌ مِّثْلُهُ كَذَلِكَ يَضْرِبُ اللّهُ الْحَقَّ وَالْبَاطِلَ فَأَمَّا الزَّبَدُ فَيَذْهَبُ جُفَاءً وَأَمَّا مَا يَنفَعُ النَّاسَ فَيَمْكُثُ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَذَلِكَ يَضْرِبُ اللّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اس نے آسمان کی جانب سے پانی اتارا تو وادیاں اپنی (اپنی) گنجائش کے مطابق بہہ نکلیں، پھر سیلاب کی رَو نے ابھرا ہوا جھاگ اٹھا لیا، اور جن چیزوں کو آگ میں تپاتے ہیں، زیور یا دوسرا سامان بنانے کے لئے اس پر بھی ویسا ہی جھاگ اٹھتا ہے، اس طرح اﷲ حق اور باطل کی مثالیں بیان فرماتا ہے، سو جھاگ تو (پانی والا ہو یا آگ والا سب) بے کار ہو کر رہ جاتا ہے اور البتہ جو کچھ لوگوں کے لئے نفع بخش ہوتا ہے وہ زمین میں باقی رہتا ہے، اﷲ اس طرح مثالیں بیان فرماتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He sends down water from the skies, and the channels flow, each according to its measure: But the torrent bears away to foam that mounts up to the surface. Even so, from that (ore) which they heat in the fire, to make ornaments or utensils therewith, there is a scum likewise. Thus doth Allah (by parables) show forth Truth and Vanity. For the scum disappears like forth cast out; while that which is for the good of mankind remains on the earth. Thus doth Allah set forth parables.

[34:12] | Walisulaymana alrreehaghuduwwuha shahrun warawahuha shahrunwaasalna lahu AAayna alqitri wamina aljinni manyaAAmalu bayna yadayhi bi-ithni rabbihi waman yazighminhum AAan amrina nuthiqhu min AAathabi alssaAAeeri | ولسليمان الريح غدوها شهر ورواحها شهر وأسلنا له عين القطر ومن الجن من يعمل بين يديه بإذن ربه ومن يزغ منهم عن أمرنا نذقه من عذاب السعير وَلِسُلَيْمَانَ الرِّيحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهْرٌ وَرَوَاحُهَا شَهْرٌ وَأَسَلْنَا لَهُ عَيْنَ الْقِطْرِ وَمِنَ الْجِنِّ مَن يَعْمَلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِ وَمَن يَزِغْ مِنْهُمْ عَنْ أَمْرِنَا نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور سلیمان (علیہ السلام) کے لئے (ہم نے) ہوا کو (مسخّر کر دیا) جس کی صبح کی مسافت ایک مہینہ کی (راہ) تھی اور اس کی شام کی مسافت (بھی) ایک ماہ کی راہ ہوتی، اور ہم نے اُن کے لئے پگھلے ہوئے تانبے کا چشمہ بہا دیا، اور کچھ جنّات (ان کے تابع کردیئے) تھے جو اُن کے رب کے حکم سے اُن کے سامنے کام کرتے تھے، اور (فرما دیا تھا کہ) ان میں سے جو کوئی ہمارے حکم سے پھرے گا ہم اسے دوزخ کی بھڑکتی آگ کا عذاب چکھائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And to Solomon (We made) the Wind (obedient): Its early morning (stride) was a month's (journey), and its evening (stride) was a month's (journey); and We made a Font of molten brass to flow for him; and there were Jinns that worked in front of him, by the leave of his Lord, and if any of them turned aside from our command, We made him taste of the Penalty of the Blazing Fire.

[34:16] | FaaAAradoo faarsalna AAalayhimsayla alAAarimi wabaddalnahum bijannatayhim jannatayni thawatayokulin khamtin waathlin washay-in min sidrin qaleelin | فأعرضوا فأرسلنا عليهم سيل العرم وبدلناهم بجنتيهم جنتين ذواتي أكل خمط وأثل وشيء من سدر قليل فَأَعْرَضُوا فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَيْلَ الْعَرِمِ وَبَدَّلْنَاهُم بِجَنَّتَيْهِمْ جَنَّتَيْنِ ذَوَاتَى أُكُلٍ خَمْطٍ وَأَثْلٍ وَشَيْءٍ مِّن سِدْرٍ قَلِيلٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر انہوں نے (طاعت سے) مُنہ پھیر لیا تو ہم نے ان پر زور دار سیلاب بھیج دیا اور ہم نے اُن کے دونوں باغوں کو دو (ایسے) باغوں سے بدل دیا جن میں بدمزہ پھل اور کچھ جھاؤ اور کچھ تھوڑے سے بیری کے درخت رہ گئے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But they turned away (from Allah), and We sent against them the Flood (released) from the dams, and We converted their two garden (rows) into "gardens" producing bitter fruit, and tamarisks, and some few (stunted) Lote-trees.
