| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[3:30] | Yawma tajidu kullu nafsin ma AAamilatmin khayrin muhdaran wama AAamilat min soo-intawaddu law anna baynaha wabaynahu amadan baAAeedan wayuhaththirukumuAllahu nafsahu waAllahu raoofun bialAAibadi |  يوم تجد كل نفس ما عملت من خير محضرا وما عملت من سوء تود لو أن بينها وبينه أمدا بعيدا ويحذركم الله نفسه والله رءوف بالعباديَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُّحْضَرًا وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِن سُوءٍ تَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُ أَمَدًا بَعِيدًا وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللّهُ نَفْسَهُ وَاللّهُ رَؤُوفٌ بِالْعِبَادِ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | جس دن ہر جان ہر اس نیکی کو بھی (اپنے سامنے) حاضر پا لے گی جو اس نے کی تھی اور ہر برائی کو بھی جو اس نے کی تھی، تو وہ آرزو کرے گی: کاش! میرے اور اس برائی (یا اس دن) کے درمیان بہت زیادہ فاصلہ ہوتا، اور اﷲ تمہیں اپنی ذات (کے غضب) سے ڈراتا ہے، اور اﷲ بندوں پر بہت مہربان ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "On the Day when every soul will be confronted with all the good it has done, and all the evil it has done, it will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself. And Allah is full of kindness to those that serve Him."

| 2. [18:12] | Thumma baAAathnahum linaAAlama ayyualhizbayni ahsa lima labithoo amadan | ثم بعثناهم لنعلم أي الحزبين أحصى لما لبثوا أمدا ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَاهُمْ لِنَعْلَمَ أَيُّ الْحِزْبَيْنِ أَحْصَى لِمَا لَبِثُوا أَمَدًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر ہم نے انہیں اٹھا دیا کہ دیکھیں دونوں گروہوں میں سے کون اس (مدّت) کو صحیح شمار کرنے والا ہے جو وہ (غار میں) ٹھہرے رہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Then We roused them, in order to test which of the two parties was best at calculating the term of years they had tarried!

| Tahir ul Qadri | آپ فرما دیں: میں نہیں جانتا کہ جس (روزِ قیامت) کا تم سے وعدہ کیا جا رہا ہے وہ قریب ہے یا اس کے لئے میرے رب نے طویل مدت مقرر فرما دی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "I know not whether the (Punishment) which ye are promised is near, or whether my Lord will appoint for it a distant term.
