| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [2:261] | Mathalu allatheena yunfiqoona amwalahumfee sabeeli Allahi kamathali habbatin anbatatsabAAa sanabila fee kulli sunbulatin mi-atu habbatinwaAllahu yudaAAifu liman yashao waAllahuwasiAAun AAaleemun |  مثل الذين ينفقون أموالهم في سبيل الله كمثل حبة أنبتت سبع سنابل في كل سنبلة مائة حبة والله يضاعف لمن يشاء والله واسع عليممَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنْبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنْبُلَةٍ مِّئَةُ حَبَّةٍ وَاللّهُ يُضَاعِفُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَاللّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | جو لوگ اﷲ کی راہ میں اپنے مال خرچ کرتے ہیں ان کی مثال (اس) دانے کی سی ہے جس سے سات بالیاں اگیں (اور پھر) ہر بالی میں سو دانے ہوں (یعنی سات سو گنا اجر پاتے ہیں)، اور اﷲ جس کے لئے چاہتا ہے (اس سے بھی) اضافہ فرما دیتا ہے، اور اﷲ بڑی وسعت والا خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The parable of those who spend their substance in the way of Allah is that of a grain of corn: it groweth seven ears, and each ear Hath a hundred grains. Allah giveth manifold increase to whom He pleaseth: And Allah careth for all and He knoweth all things.

[2:262] | Allatheena yunfiqoona amwalahumfee sabeeli Allahi thumma la yutbiAAoona maanfaqoo mannan wala athan lahum ajruhum AAindarabbihim wala khawfun AAalayhim wala hum yahzanoona | الذين ينفقون أموالهم في سبيل الله ثم لا يتبعون ما أنفقوا منا ولا أذى لهم أجرهم عند ربهم ولا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ ثُمَّ لاَ يُتْبِعُونَ مَا أَنفَقُواْ مَنًّا وَلاَ أَذًى لَّهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جو لوگ اﷲ کی راہ میں اپنے مال خرچ کرتے ہیں پھر اپنے خرچ کئے ہوئے کے پیچھے نہ احسان جتلاتے ہیں اور نہ اذیت دیتے ہیں ان کے لئے ان کے رب کے پاس ان کا اجر ہے اور (روزِ قیامت) ان پر نہ کوئی خوف ہوگا اور نہ وہ غمگین ہوں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who spend their substance in the cause of Allah, and follow not up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or with injury,-for them their reward is with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

[2:265] | Wamathalu allatheena yunfiqoona amwalahumuibtighaa mardati Allahi watathbeetan minanfusihim kamathali jannatin birabwatin asabaha wabilunfaatat okulaha diAAfayni fa-in lam yusibhawabilun fatallun waAllahu bimataAAmaloona baseerun | ومثل الذين ينفقون أموالهم ابتغاء مرضات الله وتثبيتا من أنفسهم كمثل جنة بربوة أصابها وابل فآتت أكلها ضعفين فإن لم يصبها وابل فطل والله بما تعملون بصير وَمَثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمُ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللّهِ وَتَثْبِيتًا مِّنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ كَمَثَلِ جَنَّةٍ بِرَبْوَةٍ أَصَابَهَا وَابِلٌ فَآتَتْ أُكُلَهَا ضِعْفَيْنِ فَإِن لَّمْ يُصِبْهَا وَابِلٌ فَطَلٌّ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جو لوگ اپنے مال اﷲ کی رضا حاصل کرنے اور اپنے آپ کو (ایمان و اطاعت پر) مضبوط کرنے کے لئے خرچ کرتے ہیں ان کی مثال ایک ایسے باغ کی سی ہے جو اونچی سطح پر ہو اس پر زوردار بارش ہو تو وہ دوگنا پھل لائے، اور اگر اسے زوردار بارش نہ ملے تو (اسے) شبنم (یا ہلکی سی پھوار) بھی کافی ہو، اور اﷲ تمہارے اعمال کو خوب دیکھنے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And the likeness of those who spend their substance, seeking to please Allah and to strengthen their souls, is as a garden, high and fertile: heavy rain falls on it but makes it yield a double increase of harvest, and if it receives not Heavy rain, light moisture sufficeth it. Allah seeth well whatever ye do.

[2:274] | Allatheena yunfiqoona amwalahumbiallayli waalnnahari sirran waAAalaniyatanfalahum ajruhum AAinda rabbihim wala khawfun AAalayhim walahum yahzanoona | الذين ينفقون أموالهم بالليل والنهار سرا وعلانية فلهم أجرهم عند ربهم ولا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُم بِالَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ سِرًّا وَعَلاَنِيَةً فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جو لوگ (اﷲ کی راہ میں) شب و روز اپنے مال پوشیدہ اور ظاہر خرچ کرتے ہیں تو ان کے لئے ان کے رب کے پاس ان کا اجر ہے اور (روزِ قیامت) ان پر نہ کوئی خوف ہوگا اور نہ وہ رنجیدہ ہوں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who (in charity) spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

[3:10] | Inna allatheena kafaroo lan tughniyaAAanhum amwaluhum wala awladuhum mina Allahishay-an waola-ika hum waqoodu alnnari | إن الذين كفروا لن تغني عنهم أموالهم ولا أولادهم من الله شيئا وأولئك هم وقود النار إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَن تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلاَ أَوْلاَدُهُم مِّنَ اللّهِ شَيْئًا وَأُولَـئِكَ هُمْ وَقُودُ النَّارِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک جنہوں نے کفر کیا نہ ان کے مال انہیں اﷲ (کے عذاب) سے کچھ بھی بچا سکیں گے اور نہ ان کی اولاد، اور وہی لوگ دوزخ کا ایندھن ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who reject Faith,- neither their possessions nor their (numerous) progeny will avail them aught against Allah: They are themselves but fuel for the Fire.

[3:116] | Inna allatheena kafaroo lan tughniyaAAanhum amwaluhum wala awladuhum mina Allahishay-an waola-ika as-habu alnnarihum feeha khalidoona | إن الذين كفروا لن تغني عنهم أموالهم ولا أولادهم من الله شيئا وأولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَن تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلاَ أَوْلاَدُهُم مِّنَ اللّهِ شَيْئًا وَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یقینا جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا ہے نہ ان کے مال انہیں اللہ (کے عذاب) سے کچھ بھی بچا سکیں گے اور نہ ان کی اولاد، اور وہی لوگ جہنمی ہیں، جو اس میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who reject Faith,- neither their possessions nor their (numerous) progeny will avail them aught against Allah: They will be companions of the Fire,-dwelling therein (for ever).

[4:2] | Waatoo alyatama amwalahumwala tatabaddaloo alkhabeetha bialttayyibiwala ta/kuloo amwalahum ila amwalikuminnahu kana hooban kabeeran | وآتوا اليتامى أموالهم ولا تتبدلوا الخبيث بالطيب ولا تأكلوا أموالهم إلى أموالكم إنه كان حوبا كبيرا وَآتُواْ الْيَتَامَى أَمْوَالَهُمْ وَلاَ تَتَبَدَّلُواْ الْخَبِيثَ بِالطَّيِّبِ وَلاَ تَأْكُلُواْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلَى أَمْوَالِكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ حُوبًا كَبِيرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یتیموں کو ان کے مال دے دو اور بُری چیز کو عمدہ چیز سے نہ بدلا کرو اور نہ ان کے مال اپنے مالوں میں ملا کر کھایا کرو، یقیناً یہ بہت بڑا گناہ ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | To orphans restore their property (When they reach their age), nor substitute (your) worthless things for (their) good ones; and devour not their substance (by mixing it up) with your won. For this is indeed a great sin.

[4:38] | Waallatheena yunfiqoona amwalahumri-aa alnnasi wala yu/minoona biAllahiwala bialyawmi al-akhiri waman yakuni alshshaytanulahu qareenan fasaa qareenan | والذين ينفقون أموالهم رئاء الناس ولا يؤمنون بالله ولا باليوم الآخر ومن يكن الشيطان له قرينا فساء قرينا وَالَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ رِئَـاءَ النَّاسِ وَلاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَلاَ بِالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَمَن يَكُنِ الشَّيْطَانُ لَهُ قَرِينًا فَسَاءَ قَرِينًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جو لوگ اپنے مال لوگوں کے دکھاوے کے لئے خرچ کرتے ہیں اور نہ اللہ پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور نہ یومِ آخرت پر، اور شیطان جس کا بھی ساتھی ہوگیا تو وہ برا ساتھی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Not those who spend of their substance, to be seen of men, but have no faith in Allah and the Last Day: If any take the Evil One for their intimate, what a dreadful intimate he is!

[9:55] | Fala tuAAjibka amwaluhum walaawladuhum innama yureedu Allahu liyuAAaththibahumbiha fee alhayati alddunyawatazhaqa anfusuhum wahum kafiroona | فلا تعجبك أموالهم ولا أولادهم إنما يريد الله ليعذبهم بها في الحياة الدنيا وتزهق أنفسهم وهم كافرون فَلاَ تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلاَ أَوْلاَدُهُمْ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | سو آپ کو نہ (تو) ان کے اموال تعجب میں ڈالیں اور نہ ہی ان کی اولاد۔ بس اللہ تو یہ چاہتا ہے کہ انہیں انہی (چیزوں) کی وجہ سے دنیوی زندگی میں عذاب دے اور ان کی جانیں اس حال میں نکلیں کہ وہ کافر ہوں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Let not their wealth nor their (following in) sons dazzle thee: in reality Allah's plan is to punish them with these things in this life, and that their souls may perish in their (very) denial of Allah.

[9:85] | Wala tuAAjibka amwaluhum waawladuhuminnama yureedu Allahu an yuAAaththibahum bihafee alddunya watazhaqa anfusuhum wahum kafiroona | ولا تعجبك أموالهم وأولادهم إنما يريد الله أن يعذبهم بها في الدنيا وتزهق أنفسهم وهم كافرون وَلاَ تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَأَوْلاَدُهُمْ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ أَن يُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ان کے مال اور ان کی اولاد آپ کو تعجب میں نہ ڈالیں۔ اللہ فقط یہ چاہتا ہے کہ ان چیزوں کے ذریعے انہیں دنیا میں (بھی) عذاب دے اور ان کی جانیں اس حال میں نکلیں کہ وہ کافر (ہی) ہوں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Nor let their wealth nor their (following in) sons dazzle thee: Allah's plan is to punish them with these things in this world, and that their souls may perish in their (very) denial of Allah.

[4:6] | Waibtaloo alyatama hattaitha balaghoo alnnikaha fa-in anastumminhum rushdan faidfaAAoo ilayhim amwalahum walata/kulooha israfan wabidaran an yakbaroowaman kana ghaniyyan falyastaAAfif waman kanafaqeeran falya/kul bialmaAAroofi fa-itha dafaAAtumilayhim amwalahum faashhidoo AAalayhim wakafa biAllahihaseeban | وابتلوا اليتامى حتى إذا بلغوا النكاح فإن آنستم منهم رشدا فادفعوا إليهم أموالهم ولا تأكلوها إسرافا وبدارا أن يكبروا ومن كان غنيا فليستعفف ومن كان فقيرا فليأكل بالمعروف فإذا دفعتم إليهم أموالهم فأشهدوا عليهم وكفى بالله حسيبا وَابْتَلُواْ الْيَتَامَى حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغُواْ النِّكَاحَ فَإِنْ آنَسْتُم مِّنْهُمْ رُشْدًا فَادْفَعُواْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ وَلاَ تَأْكُلُوهَا إِسْرَافًا وَبِدَارًا أَن يَكْبَرُواْ وَمَن كَانَ غَنِيًّا فَلْيَسْتَعْفِفْ وَمَن كَانَ فَقِيرًا فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ فَإِذَا دَفَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فَأَشْهِدُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَفَى بِاللّهِ حَسِيبًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یتیموں کی (تربیتہً) جانچ اور آزمائش کرتے رہو یہاں تک کہ نکاح (کی عمر) کو پہنچ جائیں پھر اگر تم ان میں ہوشیاری (اور حُسنِ تدبیر) دیکھ لو تو ان کے مال ان کے حوالے کر دو، اور ان کے مال فضول خرچی اور جلد بازی میں (اس اندیشے سے) نہ کھا ڈالو کہ وہ بڑے ہو (کر واپس لے) جائیں گے، اور جو کوئی خوشحال ہو وہ (مالِ یتیم سے) بالکل بچا رہے اور جو (خود) نادار ہو اسے (صرف) مناسب حد تک کھانا چاہئے، اور جب تم ان کے مال ان کے سپرد کرنے لگو تو ان پر گواہ بنا لیا کرو، اور حساب لینے والا اللہ ہی کافی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Make trial of orphans until they reach the age of marriage; if then ye find sound judgment in them, release their property to them; but consume it not wastefully, nor in haste against their growing up. If the guardian is well-off, Let him claim no remuneration, but if he is poor, let him have for himself what is just and reasonable. When ye release their property to them, take witnesses in their presence: But all-sufficient is Allah in taking account.

[4:34] | Alrrijalu qawwamoonaAAala alnnisa-i bima faddalaAllahu baAAdahum AAala baAAdin wabimaanfaqoo min amwalihim faalssalihatu qanitatunhafithatun lilghaybi bima hafithaAllahu waallatee takhafoonanushoozahunna faAAithoohunna waohjuroohunnafee almadajiAAi waidriboohunna fa-in ataAAnakumfala tabghoo AAalayhinna sabeelan inna Allaha kanaAAaliyyan kabeeran | الرجال قوامون على النساء بما فضل الله بعضهم على بعض وبما أنفقوا من أموالهم فالصالحات قانتات حافظات للغيب بما حفظ الله واللاتي تخافون نشوزهن فعظوهن واهجروهن في المضاجع واضربوهن فإن أطعنكم فلا تبغوا عليهن سبيلا إن الله كان عليا كبيرا الرِّجَالُ قَوَّامُونَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ اللّهُ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَبِمَا أَنفَقُواْ مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ فَالصَّالِحَاتُ قَانِتَاتٌ حَافِظَاتٌ لِّلْغَيْبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ اللّهُ وَاللاَّتِي تَخَافُونَ نُشُوزَهُنَّ فَعِظُوهُنَّ وَاهْجُرُوهُنَّ فِي الْمَضَاجِعِ وَاضْرِبُوهُنَّ فَإِنْ أَطَعْنَكُمْ فَلاَ تَبْغُواْ عَلَيْهِنَّ سَبِيلاً إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلِيًّا كَبِيرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | مرد عورتوں پر محافظ و منتظِم ہیں اس لئے کہ اللہ نے ان میں سے بعض کو بعض پر فضیلت دی ہے اور اس وجہ سے (بھی) کہ مرد (ان پر) اپنے مال خرچ کرتے ہیں، پس نیک بیویاں اطاعت شعار ہوتی ہیں شوہروں کی عدم موجودگی میں اللہ کی حفاظت کے ساتھ (اپنی عزت کی) حفاظت کرنے والی ہوتی ہیں، اور تمہیں جن عورتوں کی نافرمانی و سرکشی کا اندیشہ ہو تو انہیں نصیحت کرو اور (اگر نہ سمجھیں تو) انہیں خواب گاہوں میں (خود سے) علیحدہ کر دو اور (اگر پھر بھی اصلاح پذیر نہ ہوں تو) انہیں (تادیباً ہلکا سا) مارو، پھر اگر وہ تمہاری فرمانبردار ہو جائیں تو ان پر (ظلم کا) کوئی راستہ تلاش نہ کرو، بیشک اللہ سب سے بلند سب سے بڑا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all).

[8:36] | Inna allatheena kafaroo yunfiqoonaamwalahum liyasuddoo AAan sabeeli Allahifasayunfiqoonaha thumma takoonu AAalayhim hasratanthumma yughlaboona waallatheena kafaroo ilajahannama yuhsharoona | إن الذين كفروا ينفقون أموالهم ليصدوا عن سبيل الله فسينفقونها ثم تكون عليهم حسرة ثم يغلبون والذين كفروا إلى جهنم يحشرون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ لِيَصُدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ فَسَيُنفِقُونَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسْرَةً ثُمَّ يُغْلَبُونَ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ إِلَى جَهَنَّمَ يُحْشَرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک کافر لوگ اپنا مال و دولت (اس لئے) خرچ کرتے ہیں کہ (اس کے اثر سے) وہ (لوگوں کو) اللہ (کے دین) کی راہ سے روکیں، سو ابھی وہ اسے خرچ کرتے رہیں گے پھر (یہ خرچ کرنا) ان کے حق میں پچھتاوا (یعنی حسرت و ندامت) بن جائے گا پھر وہ (گرفتِ الٰہی کے ذریعے) مغلوب کر دیئے جائیں گے، اور جن لوگوں نے کفر اپنا لیا ہے وہ دوزخ کی طرف ہانکے جائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The Unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (man) from the path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend; but in the end they will have (only) regrets and sighs; at length they will be overcome: and the Unbelievers will be gathered together to Hell;-

[9:103] | Khuth min amwalihim sadaqatantutahhiruhum watuzakkeehim biha wasalliAAalayhim inna salataka sakanun lahum waAllahusameeAAun AAaleemun | خذ من أموالهم صدقة تطهرهم وتزكيهم بها وصل عليهم إن صلاتك سكن لهم والله سميع عليم خُذْ مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ صَدَقَةً تُطَهِّرُهُمْ وَتُزَكِّيهِم بِهَا وَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّ صَلاَتَكَ سَكَنٌ لَّهُمْ وَاللّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | آپ ان کے اموال میں سے صدقہ (زکوٰۃ) وصول کیجئے کہ آپ اس (صدقہ) کے باعث انہیں (گناہوں سے) پاک فرما دیں اور انہیں (ایمان و مال کی پاکیزگی سے) برکت بخش دیں اور ان کے حق میں دعا فرمائیں، بیشک آپ کی دعا ان کے لئے (باعثِ) تسکین ہے، اور اﷲ خوب سننے والا خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Of their goods, take alms, that so thou mightest purify and sanctify them; and pray on their behalf. Verily thy prayers are a source of security for them: And Allah is One Who heareth and knoweth.

[10:88] | Waqala moosa rabbanainnaka atayta firAAawna wamalaahu zeenatan waamwalanfee alhayati alddunya rabbanaliyudilloo AAan sabeelika rabbana itmis AAalaamwalihim waoshdud AAala quloobihim falayu/minoo hatta yarawoo alAAathaba al-aleema | وقال موسى ربنا إنك آتيت فرعون وملأه زينة وأموالا في الحياة الدنيا ربنا ليضلوا عن سبيلك ربنا اطمس على أموالهم واشدد على قلوبهم فلا يؤمنوا حتى يروا العذاب الأليم وَقَالَ مُوسَى رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ آتَيْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَأَهُ زِينَةً وَأَمْوَالاً فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا رَبَّنَا لِيُضِلُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِكَ رَبَّنَا اطْمِسْ عَلَى أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاشْدُدْ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَلاَ يُؤْمِنُواْ حَتَّى يَرَوُاْ الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور موسٰی (علیہ السلام) نے کہا: اے ہمارے رب! بیشک تو نے فرعون اور اس کے سرداروں کو دنیوی زندگی میں اسبابِ زینت اور مال و دولت (کی کثرت) دے رکھی ہے، اے ہمارے رب! (کیا تو نے انہیں یہ سب کچھ اس لئے دیا ہے) تاکہ وہ (لوگوں کو کبھی لالچ اور کبھی خوف دلا کر) تیری راہ سے بہکا دیں۔ اے ہمارے رب! تو ان کی دولتوں کو برباد کردے اور ان کے دلوں کو (اتنا) سخت کردے کہ وہ پھر بھی ایمان نہ لائیں حتٰی کہ وہ دردناک عذاب دیکھ لیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Moses prayed: "Our Lord! Thou hast indeed bestowed on Pharaoh and his chiefs splendour and wealth in the life of the present, and so, Our Lord, they mislead (men) from Thy Path. Deface our Lord, the features of their wealth, and send hardness to their hearts, so they will not believe until they see the grievous penalty."

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اُن کے اموال میں سائل اور محروم (سب حاجت مندوں) کا حق مقرر تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And in their wealth and possessions (was remembered) the right of the (needy,) him who asked, and him who (for some reason) was prevented (from asking).

[58:17] | Lan tughniya AAanhum amwaluhum walaawladuhum mina Allahi shay-an ola-ika as-habualnnari hum feeha khalidoona | لن تغني عنهم أموالهم ولا أولادهم من الله شيئا أولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون لَن تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا أُوْلَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اللہ (کے عذاب) سے ہرگز نہ ہی اُن کے مال انہیں بچا سکیں گے اور نہ اُن کی اولاد ہی (انہیں بچا سکے گی)، یہی لوگ اہلِ دوزخ ہیں، وہ اس میں ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Of no profit whatever to them, against Allah, will be their riches nor their sons: they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein (for aye)!
