[2:70] | Qaloo odAAu lana rabbakayubayyin lana ma hiya inna albaqara tashabahaAAalayna wa-inna in shaa Allahulamuhtadoona |  قالوا ادع لنا ربك يبين لنا ما هي إن البقر تشابه علينا وإنا إن شاء الله لمهتدونقَالُواْ ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا هِيَ إِنَّ البَقَرَ تَشَابَهَ عَلَيْنَا وَإِنَّآ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَمُهْتَدُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | (اب) انہوں نے کہا: آپ ہمارے لئے اپنے رب سے درخواست کیجئے کہ وہ ہم پر واضح فرما دے کہ وہ کون سی گائے ہے؟ (کیونکہ) ہم پر گائے مشتبہ ہو گئی ہے، اور یقیناً اگر اللہ نے چاہا تو ہم ضرور ہدایت یافتہ ہو جائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They said: "Beseech on our behalf Thy Lord to make plain to us what she is: To us are all heifers alike: We wish indeed for guidance, if Allah wills."

[6:144] | Wamina al-ibili ithnayni wamina albaqariithnayni qul alththakarayni harramaami alonthayayni amma ishtamalat AAalayhi arhamualonthayayni am kuntum shuhadaa ith wassakumuAllahu bihatha faman athlamu mimmaniiftara AAala Allahi kathiban liyudillaalnnasa bighayri AAilmin inna Allaha layahdee alqawma alththalimeena | ومن الإبل اثنين ومن البقر اثنين قل آلذكرين حرم أم الأنثيين أما اشتملت عليه أرحام الأنثيين أم كنتم شهداء إذ وصاكم الله بهذا فمن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا ليضل الناس بغير علم إن الله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين وَمِنَ الْإِبْلِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ اثْنَيْنِ قُلْ آلذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ وَصَّاكُمُ اللّهُ بِهَـذَا فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللّهِ كَذِبًا لِيُضِلَّ النَّاسَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور دو (نر و مادہ) اونٹ سے اور دو (نر و مادہ) گائے سے۔ (آپ ان سے) فرما دیجئے: کیا اس نے دونوں نر حرام کئے ہیں یا دونوں مادہ یا وہ (بچہ) جو دونوں ماداؤں کے رحموں میں موجود ہے؟ کیا تم اس وقت موجود تھے جب اﷲ نے تمہیں اس (حرمت) کا حکم دیا تھا؟ پھر اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہو سکتا ہے جو اﷲ پر جھوٹا بہتان باندھتا ہے تاکہ لوگوں کو بغیر جانے گمراہ کرتا پھرے۔ بیشک اﷲ ظالم قوم کو ہدایت نہیں فرماتا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Of camels a pair, and oxen a pair; say, hath He forbidden the two males, or the two females, or (the young) which the wombs of the two females enclose? - Were ye present when Allah ordered you such a thing? But who doth more wrong than one who invents a lie against Allah, to lead astray men without knowledge? For Allah guideth not people who do wrong.

[6:146] | WaAAala allatheena hadooharramna kulla thee thufurinwamina albaqari waalghanami harramnaAAalayhim shuhoomahuma illa ma hamalatthuhooruhuma awi alhawayaaw ma ikhtalata biAAathmin thalikajazaynahum bibaghyihim wa-inna lasadiqoona | وعلى الذين هادوا حرمنا كل ذي ظفر ومن البقر والغنم حرمنا عليهم شحومهما إلا ما حملت ظهورهما أو الحوايا أو ما اختلط بعظم ذلك جزيناهم ببغيهم وإنا لصادقون وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ هَادُواْ حَرَّمْنَا كُلَّ ذِي ظُفُرٍ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ وَالْغَنَمِ حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ شُحُومَهُمَا إِلاَّ مَا حَمَلَتْ ظُهُورُهُمَا أَوِ الْحَوَايَا أَوْ مَا اخْتَلَطَ بِعَظْمٍ ذَلِكَ جَزَيْنَاهُم بِبَغْيِهِمْ وِإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یہودیوں پر ہم نے ہر ناخن والا (جانور) حرام کر دیا تھا اور گائے اور بکری میں سے ہم نے ان پر دونوں کی چربی حرام کر دی تھی سوائے اس (چربی) کے جو دونوں کی پیٹھ میں ہو یا اوجھڑی میں لگی ہو یا جو ہڈی کے ساتھ ملی ہو۔ یہ ہم نے ان کی سرکشی کے باعث انہیں سزا دی تھی اور یقینا ہم سچے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | For those who followed the Jewish Law, We forbade every (animal) with undivided hoof, and We forbade them that fat of the ox and the sheep, except what adheres to their backs or their entrails, or is mixed up with a bone: this in recompense for their wilful disobedience: for We are true (in Our ordinances).
