| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [2:8] | Wamina alnnasi man yaqoolu amannabiAllahi wabialyawmi al-akhiri wamahum bimu/mineena |  ومن الناس من يقول آمنا بالله وباليوم الآخر وما هم بمؤمنينوَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَّقُولُ آمَنَّا بِاللّهِ وَبِالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَمَا هُم بِمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور لوگوں میں سے بعض وہ (بھی) ہیں جو کہتے ہیں ہم اللہ پر اور یومِ قیامت پر ایمان لائے حالانکہ وہ (ہرگز) مومن نہیں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Of the people there are some who say: "We believe in Allah and the Last Day;" but they do not (really) believe.

| 2. [7:132] | Waqaloo mahma ta/tinabihi min ayatin litasharana biha famanahnu laka bimu/mineena | وقالوا مهما تأتنا به من آية لتسحرنا بها فما نحن لك بمؤمنين وَقَالُواْ مَهْمَا تَأْتِنَا بِهِ مِن آيَةٍ لِّتَسْحَرَنَا بِهَا فَمَا نَحْنُ لَكَ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور وہ (اہلِ فرعون متکبرانہ طور پر) کہنے لگے: (اے موسٰی!) تم ہمارے پاس جو بھی نشانی لاؤ کہ تم اس کے ذریعے ہم پر جادو کر سکو، تب بھی ہم تم پر ایمان لانے والے نہیں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They said (to Moses): "Whatever be the Signs thou bringest, to work therewith thy sorcery on us, we shall never believe in thee.

[10:78] | Qaloo aji/tana litalfitanaAAamma wajadna AAalayhi abaanawatakoona lakuma alkibriyao fee al-ardi wamanahnu lakuma bimu/mineena | قالوا أجئتنا لتلفتنا عما وجدنا عليه آباءنا وتكون لكما الكبرياء في الأرض وما نحن لكما بمؤمنين قَالُواْ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَلْفِتَنَا عَمَّا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا وَتَكُونَ لَكُمَا الْكِبْرِيَاءُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكُمَا بِمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ کہنے لگے: (اے موسٰی!) کیا تم ہمارے پاس اس لئے آئے ہو کہ تم ہمیں اس (طریقہ) سے پھیر دو جس پر ہم نے اپنے باپ دادا کو (گامزن) پایا اور زمین (یعنی سرزمینِ مصر) میں تم دونوں کی بڑائی (قائم) رہے؟ اور ہم لوگ تم دونوں کو ماننے والے نہیں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They said: "Hast thou come to us to turn us away from the ways we found our fathers following,- in order that thou and thy brother may have greatness in the land? But not we shall believe in you!"

[11:53] | Qaloo ya hoodu maji/tana bibayyinatin wama nahnu bitarikeealihatina AAan qawlika wama nahnulaka bimu/mineena | قالوا يا هود ما جئتنا ببينة وما نحن بتاركي آلهتنا عن قولك وما نحن لك بمؤمنين قَالُواْ يَا هُودُ مَا جِئْتَنَا بِبَيِّنَةٍ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِتَارِكِي آلِهَتِنَا عَن قَوْلِكَ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكَ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ بولے: اے ہود! تم ہمارے پاس کوئی واضح دلیل لیکر نہیں آئے ہو اور نہ ہم تمہارے کہنے سے اپنے معبودوں کو چھوڑنے والے ہیں اور نہ ہی ہم تم پر ایمان لانے والے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They said: "O Hud! No Clear (Sign) that hast thou brought us, and we are not the ones to desert our gods on thy word! Nor shall we believe in thee!

| 5. [12:103] | Wama aktharu alnnasiwalaw harasta bimu/mineena | وما أكثر الناس ولو حرصت بمؤمنين وَمَا أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ وَلَوْ حَرَصْتَ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اکثر لوگ ایمان لانے والے نہیں ہیں اگرچہ آپ (کتنی ہی) خواہش کریں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Yet no faith will the greater part of mankind have, however ardently thou dost desire it.

| 6. [23:38] | In huwa illa rajulun iftaraAAala Allahi kathiban wama nahnulahu bimu/mineena | إن هو إلا رجل افترى على الله كذبا وما نحن له بمؤمنين إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا وَمَا نَحْنُ لَهُ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یہ تو محض ایسا شخص ہے جس نے اللہ پر جھوٹا بہتان لگایا ہے اور ہم بالکل اس پر ایمان لانے والے نہیں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "He is only a man who invents a lie against Allah, but we are not the ones to believe in him!"
