| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [2:29] | Huwa allathee khalaqa lakum mafee al-ardi jameeAAan thumma istawa ila alssama-ifasawwahunna sabAAa samawatin wahuwa bikullishay-in AAaleemun |  هو الذي خلق لكم ما في الأرض جميعا ثم استوى إلى السماء فسواهن سبع سماوات وهو بكل شيء عليمهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ لَكُم مَّا فِي الأَرْضِ جَمِيعاً ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَسَوَّاهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | وہی ہے جس نے سب کچھ جو زمین میں ہے تمہارے لئے پیدا کیا، پھر وہ (کائنات کے) بالائی حصوں کی طرف متوجہ ہوا تو اس نے انہیں درست کر کے ان کے سات آسمانی طبقات بنا دیئے، اور وہ ہر چیز کا جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | It is He Who hath created for you all things that are on earth; Moreover His design comprehended the heavens, for He gave order and perfection to the seven firmaments; and of all things He hath perfect knowledge.

[2:164] | Inna fee khalqi alssamawatiwaal-ardi waikhtilafi allayli waalnnahariwaalfulki allatee tajree fee albahri bimayanfaAAu alnnasa wama anzala Allahumina alssama-i min ma-in faahyabihi al-arda baAAda mawtiha wabaththa feehamin kulli dabbatin watasreefi alrriyahiwaalssahabi almusakhkhari bayna alssama-iwaal-ardi laayatin liqawminyaAAqiloona | إن في خلق السماوات والأرض واختلاف الليل والنهار والفلك التي تجري في البحر بما ينفع الناس وما أنزل الله من السماء من ماء فأحيا به الأرض بعد موتها وبث فيها من كل دابة وتصريف الرياح والسحاب المسخر بين السماء والأرض لآيات لقوم يعقلون إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلاَفِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَالْفُلْكِ الَّتِي تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِمَا يَنفَعُ النَّاسَ وَمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِن مَّاءٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍ وَتَصْرِيفِ الرِّيَاحِ وَالسَّحَابِ الْمُسَخِّرِ بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک آسمانوں اور زمین کی تخلیق میں اور رات دن کی گردش میں اور ان جہازوں (اور کشتیوں) میں جو سمندر میں لوگوں کو نفع پہنچانے والی چیزیں اٹھا کر چلتی ہیں اور اس (بارش) کے پانی میں جسے اﷲ آسمان کی طرف سے اتارتا ہے پھر اس کے ذریعے زمین کو مُردہ ہو جانے کے بعد زندہ کرتا ہے (وہ زمین) جس میں اس نے ہر قسم کے جانور پھیلا دیئے ہیں اور ہواؤں کے رُخ بدلنے میں اور اس بادل میں جو آسمان اور زمین کے درمیان (حکمِ الٰہی کا) پابند (ہو کر چلتا) ہے (ان میں) عقلمندوں کے لئے (قدرتِ الٰہی کی بہت سی) نشانیاں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the night and the day; in the sailing of the ships through the ocean for the profit of mankind; in the rain which Allah Sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds, and the clouds which they Trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth;- (Here) indeed are Signs for a people that are wise.

| Tahir ul Qadri | اُسی نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو درست تدبیر کے ساتھ پیدا فرمایا، وہ ان چیزوں سے برتر ہے جنہیں کفار (اس کا) شریک گردانتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He has created the heavens and the earth for just ends: Far is He above having the partners they ascribe to Him!

| 4. [16:4] | Khalaqa al-insana min nutfatinfa-itha huwa khaseemun mubeenun | خلق الإنسان من نطفة فإذا هو خصيم مبين خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اُسی نے انسان کو ایک تولیدی قطرہ سے پیدا فرمایا، پھر بھی وہ (اللہ کے حضور مطیع ہونے کی بجائے) کھلا جھگڑالو بن گیا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He has created man from a sperm-drop; and behold this same (man) becomes an open disputer!

[2:228] | Waalmutallaqatuyatarabbasna bi-anfusihinna thalathata quroo-in walayahillu lahunna an yaktumna ma khalaqa Allahufee arhamihinna in kunna yu/minna biAllahiwaalyawmi al-akhiri wabuAAoolatuhunna ahaqqubiraddihinna fee thalika in aradoo islahanwalahunna mithlu allathee AAalayhinna bialmaAAroofiwalilrrijali AAalayhinna darajatun waAllahuAAazeezun hakeemun | والمطلقات يتربصن بأنفسهن ثلاثة قروء ولا يحل لهن أن يكتمن ما خلق الله في أرحامهن إن كن يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر وبعولتهن أحق بردهن في ذلك إن أرادوا إصلاحا ولهن مثل الذي عليهن بالمعروف وللرجال عليهن درجة والله عزيز حكيم وَالْمُطَلَّقَاتُ يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ ثَلاَثَةَ قُرُوءٍ وَلاَ يَحِلُّ لَهُنَّ أَن يَكْتُمْنَ مَا خَلَقَ اللّهُ فِي أَرْحَامِهِنَّ إِن كُنَّ يُؤْمِنَّ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَبُعُولَتُهُنَّ أَحَقُّ بِرَدِّهِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ إِنْ أَرَادُواْ إِصْلاَحًا وَلَهُنَّ مِثْلُ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَلِلرِّجَالِ عَلَيْهِنَّ دَرَجَةٌ وَاللّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكُيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور طلاق یافتہ عورتیں اپنے آپ کو تین حیض تک روکے رکھیں، اور ان کے لئے جائز نہیں کہ وہ اسے چھپائیں جو اﷲ نے ان کے رحموں میں پیدا فرما دیا ہو، اگر وہ اﷲ پر اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتی ہیں، اور اس مدت کے اندر ان کے شوہروں کو انہیں (پھر) اپنی زوجیت میں لوٹا لینے کا حق زیادہ ہے اگر وہ اصلاح کا ارادہ کر لیں، اور دستور کے مطابق عورتوں کے بھی مردوں پر اسی طرح حقوق ہیں جیسے مردوں کے عورتوں پر، البتہ مردوں کو ان پر فضیلت ہے، اور اﷲ بڑا غالب بڑی حکمت والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Divorced women shall wait concerning themselves for three monthly periods. Nor is it lawful for them to hide what Allah Hath created in their wombs, if they have faith in Allah and the Last Day. And their husbands have the better right to take them back in that period, if they wish for reconciliation. And women shall have rights similar to the rights against them, according to what is equitable; but men have a degree (of advantage) over them. And Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.

| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک آسمانوں اور زمین کی تخلیق میں اور شب و روز کی گردش میں عقلِ سلیم والوں کے لئے (اللہ کی قدرت کی) نشانیاں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day,- there are indeed Signs for men of understanding,-

| Tahir ul Qadri | (یہ) اس (اللہ) کی طرف سے اتارا ہوا ہے جس نے زمین اور بلند و بالا آسمان پیدا فرمائے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the heavens on high.

| 8. [21:37] | Khuliqa al-insanu min AAajalinsaoreekum ayatee fala tastaAAjiloona | خلق الإنسان من عجل سأريكم آياتي فلا تستعجلون خُلِقَ الْإِنسَانُ مِنْ عَجَلٍ سَأُوْرِيكُمْ آيَاتِي فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | انسان (فطرتًا) جلد بازی میں سے پیدا کیا گیا ہے، میں تمہیں جلد ہی اپنی نشانیاں دکھاؤں گا پس تم جلدی کا مطالبہ نہ کرو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Man is a creature of haste: soon (enough) will I show you My Signs; then ye will not ask Me to hasten them!

[3:191] | Allatheena yathkuroona Allahaqiyaman waquAAoodan waAAala junoobihimwayatafakkaroona fee khalqi alssamawati waal-ardirabbana ma khalaqta hatha batilan subhanakafaqina AAathaba alnnari | الذين يذكرون الله قياما وقعودا وعلى جنوبهم ويتفكرون في خلق السماوات والأرض ربنا ما خلقت هذا باطلا سبحانك فقنا عذاب النار الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَى جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَذَا بَاطِلاً سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو (سراپا نیاز بن کر) کھڑے اور (سراپا ادب بن کر) بیٹھے اور (ہجر میں تڑپتے ہوئے) اپنی کروٹوں پر (بھی) اللہ کو یاد کرتے رہتے ہیں اور آسمانوں اور زمین کی تخلیق (میں کارفرما اس کی عظمت اور حُسن کے جلووں) میں فکر کرتے رہتے ہیں، (پھر اس کی معرفت سے لذت آشنا ہو کر پکار اٹھتے ہیں:) اے ہمارے رب! تو نے یہ (سب کچھ) بے حکمت اور بے تدبیر نہیں بنایا، تو (سب کوتاہیوں اور مجبوریوں سے) پاک ہے پس ہمیں دوزخ کے عذاب سے بچا لے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (With the thought): "Our Lord! not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire.

[4:119] | Walaodillannahum walaomanniyannahumwalaamurannahum falayubattikunna athana al-anAAamiwalaamurannahum falayughayyirunna khalqa Allahiwaman yattakhithi alshshaytana waliyyan mindooni Allahi faqad khasira khusranan mubeenan | ولأضلنهم ولأمنينهم ولآمرنهم فليبتكن آذان الأنعام ولآمرنهم فليغيرن خلق الله ومن يتخذ الشيطان وليا من دون الله فقد خسر خسرانا مبينا وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمْ وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمْ وَلَآمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ آذَانَ الْأَنْعَامِ وَلَآمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلْقَ اللّهِ وَمَن يَتَّخِذِ الشَّيْطَانَ وَلِيًّا مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ فَقَدْ خَسِرَ خُسْرَانًا مُّبِينًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | میں انہیں ضرور گمراہ کردوں گا اور ضرور انہیں غلط اُمیدیں دلاؤں گا اور انہیں ضرور حکم دیتا رہوں گا سو وہ یقیناً جانوروں کے کان چیرا کریں گے اور میں انہیں ضرور حکم دیتا رہوں گا سو وہ یقیناً اللہ کی بنائی ہوئی چیزوں کو بدلا کریں گے، اور جو کوئی اللہ کو چھوڑ کر شیطان کو دوست بنالے تو واقعی وہ صریح نقصان میں رہا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "I will mislead them, and I will create in them false desires; I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and to deface the (fair) nature created by Allah." Whoever, forsaking Allah, takes satan for a friend, hath of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest.

[5:18] | Waqalati alyahoodu waalnnasaranahnu abnao Allahi waahibbaohuqul falima yuAAaththibukum bithunoobikum bal antumbasharun mimman khalaqa yaghfiru liman yashao wayuAAaththibuman yashao walillahi mulku alssamawatiwaal-ardi wama baynahuma wa-ilayhialmaseeru | وقالت اليهود والنصارى نحن أبناء الله وأحباؤه قل فلم يعذبكم بذنوبكم بل أنتم بشر ممن خلق يغفر لمن يشاء ويعذب من يشاء ولله ملك السماوات والأرض وما بينهما وإليه المصير وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ وَالنَّصَارَى نَحْنُ أَبْنَاءُ اللّهِ وَأَحِبَّاؤُهُ قُلْ فَلِمَ يُعَذِّبُكُم بِذُنُوبِكُم بَلْ أَنتُم بَشَرٌ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ يَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَلِلّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یہود اور نصارٰی نے کہا: ہم اﷲ کے بیٹے اور اس کے محبوب ہیں۔ آپ فرما دیجئے: (اگر تمہاری بات درست ہے) تو وہ تمہارے گناہوں پر تمہیں عذاب کیوں دیتا ہے؟ بلکہ (حقیقت یہ ہے کہ) جن (مخلوقات) کو اﷲ نے پیدا کیا ہے تم (بھی) ان (ہی) میں سے بشر ہو (یعنی دیگر طبقاتِ انسانی ہی کی مانند ہو)، وہ جسے چاہے بخشش سے نوازتا ہے اور جسے چاہے عذاب سے دوچار کرتا ہے، اور آسمانوں اور زمین اور وہ (کائنات) جو دونوں کے درمیان ہے (سب) کی بادشاہی اﷲ ہی کے لئے ہے اور (ہر ایک کو) اسی کی طرف پلٹ کر جانا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Both) the Jews and the Christians say: "We are sons of Allah, and his beloved." Say: "Why then doth He punish you for your sins? Nay, ye are but men,- of the men he hath created: He forgiveth whom He pleaseth, and He punisheth whom He pleaseth: and to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between: and unto Him is the final goal (of all)"

[6:1] | Alhamdu lillahi allatheekhalaqa alssamawati waal-ardawajaAAala alththulumati waalnnoorathumma allatheena kafaroo birabbihim yaAAdiloona | الحمد لله الذي خلق السماوات والأرض وجعل الظلمات والنور ثم الذين كفروا بربهم يعدلون الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَالنُّورَ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِرَبِّهِم يَعْدِلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | تمام تعریفیں اﷲ ہی کے لئے ہیں جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو پیدا فرمایا اور تاریکیوں اور روشنی کو بنایا، پھر بھی کافر لوگ (معبودانِ باطلہ کو) اپنے رب کے برابر ٹھہراتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Praise be Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and made the darkness and the light. Yet those who reject Faith hold (others) as equal, with their Guardian-Lord.

[6:73] | Wahuwa allathee khalaqa alssamawatiwaal-arda bialhaqqi wayawma yaqoolukun fayakoonu qawluhu alhaqqu walahu almulku yawmayunfakhu fee alssoori AAalimu alghaybi waalshshahadatiwahuwa alhakeemu alkhabeeru | وهو الذي خلق السماوات والأرض بالحق ويوم يقول كن فيكون قوله الحق وله الملك يوم ينفخ في الصور عالم الغيب والشهادة وهو الحكيم الخبير وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ وَيَوْمَ يَقُولُ كُن فَيَكُونُ قَوْلُهُ الْحَقُّ وَلَهُ الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور وہی (اﷲ) ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو حق (پر مبنی تدبیر) کے ساتھ پیدا فرمایا ہے اور جس دن وہ فرمائے گا: ہوجا، تو وہ (روزِ محشر بپا) ہو جائے گا۔ اس کا فرمان حق ہے، اور اس دن اسی کی بادشاہی ہوگی جب (اسرافیل کے ذریعے صور میں پھونک ماری جائے گے، (وہی) ہر پوشیدہ اور ظاہر کا جاننے والا ہے، اور وہی بڑا حکمت والا خبردار ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | It is He who created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions): the day He saith, "Be," behold! it is. His word is the truth. His will be the dominion the day the trumpet will be blown. He knoweth the unseen as well as that which is open. For He is the Wise, well acquainted (with all things).

[7:54] | Inna rabbakumu Allahu allatheekhalaqa alssamawati waal-ardafee sittati ayyamin thumma istawa AAalaalAAarshi yughshee allayla alnnahara yatlubuhuhatheethan waalshshamsa waalqamara waalnnujoomamusakhkharatin bi-amrihi ala lahu alkhalqu waal-amrutabaraka Allahu rabbu alAAalameena | إن ربكم الله الذي خلق السماوات والأرض في ستة أيام ثم استوى على العرش يغشي الليل النهار يطلبه حثيثا والشمس والقمر والنجوم مسخرات بأمره ألا له الخلق والأمر تبارك الله رب العالمين إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيثًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَاتٍ بِأَمْرِهِ أَلاَ لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ تَبَارَكَ اللّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک تمہارا رب اﷲ ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین (کی کائنات) کو چھ مدتوں (یعنی چھ اَدوار) میں پیدا فرمایا پھر (اپنی شان کے مطابق) عرش پر استواء (یعنی اس کائنات میں اپنے حکم و اقتدار کے نظام کا اجراء) فرمایا۔ وہی رات سے دن کو ڈھانک دیتا ہے (درآنحالیکہ دن رات میں سے) ہر ایک دوسرے کے تعاقب میں تیزی سے لگا رہتا ہے اور سورج اور چاند اور ستارے (سب) اسی کے حکم (سے ایک نظام) کے پابند بنا دیئے گئے ہیں۔ خبردار! (ہر چیز کی) تخلیق اور حکم و تدبیر کا نظام چلانا اسی کا کام ہے۔ اﷲ بڑی برکت والا ہے جو تمام جہانوں کی (تدریجاً) پرورش فرمانے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority): He draweth the night as a veil o'er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under His command. Is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds!

| Yousuf Ali | Should He not know,- He that created? and He is the One that understands the finest mysteries (and) is well-acquainted (with them).

| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا انہوں نے آسمانوں اور زمین کی بادشاہت میں اور (علاوہ ان کے) جو کوئی چیز بھی اللہ نے پیدا فرمائی ہے (اس میں) نگاہ نہیں ڈالی؟ اور اس میں کہ کیا عجب ہے ان کی مدتِ (موت) قریب آچکی ہو، پھر اس کے بعد وہ کس بات پر ایمان لائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Do they see nothing in the government of the heavens and the earth and all that Allah hath created? (Do they not see) that it may well be that their terms is nigh drawing to an end? In what message after this will they then believe?

[9:36] | Inna AAiddata alshshuhoori AAinda Allahiithna AAashara shahran fee kitabi Allahiyawma khalaqa alssamawati waal-ardaminha arbaAAatun hurumun thalika alddeenualqayyimu fala tathlimoo feehinna anfusakumwaqatiloo almushrikeena kaffatan kama yuqatiloonakumkaffatan waiAAlamoo anna Allaha maAAaalmuttaqeena | إن عدة الشهور عند الله اثنا عشر شهرا في كتاب الله يوم خلق السماوات والأرض منها أربعة حرم ذلك الدين القيم فلا تظلموا فيهن أنفسكم وقاتلوا المشركين كافة كما يقاتلونكم كافة واعلموا أن الله مع المتقين إِنَّ عِدَّةَ الشُّهُورِ عِندَ اللّهِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْرًا فِي كِتَابِ اللّهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَات وَالأَرْضَ مِنْهَا أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ ذَلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ فَلاَ تَظْلِمُواْ فِيهِنَّ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَقَاتِلُواْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ كَآفَّةً كَمَا يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ كَآفَّةً وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ مَعَ الْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک اللہ کے نزدیک مہینوں کی گنتی اللہ کی کتاب (یعنی نوشتۂ قدرت) میں بارہ مہینے (لکھی) ہے جس دن سے اس نے آسمانوں اور زمین (کے نظام) کو پیدا فرمایا تھا ان میں سے چار مہینے (رجب، ذو القعدہ، ذو الحجہ اور محرم) حرمت والے ہیں۔ یہی سیدھا دین ہے سو تم ان مہینوں میں (ازخود جنگ و قتال میں ملوث ہو کر) اپنی جانوں پر ظلم نہ کرنا اور تم (بھی) تمام مشرکین سے اسی طرح (جوابی) جنگ کیا کرو جس طرح وہ سب کے سب (اکٹھے ہو کر) تم سے جنگ کرتے ہیں، اور جان لو کہ بیشک اللہ پرہیزگاروں کے ساتھ ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The number of months in the sight of Allah is twelve (in a year)- so ordained by Him the day He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are sacred: that is the straight usage. So wrong not yourselves therein, and fight the Pagans all together as they fight you all together. But know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves.

| Tahir ul Qadri | یقیناً تمہارا رب اللہ ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین (کی بالائی و زیریں کائنات) کو چھ دنوں (یعنی چھ مدتوں یا مرحلوں) میں (تدریجاً) پیدا فرمایا پھر وہ عرش پر (اپنے اقتدار کے ساتھ) جلوہ افروز ہوا (یعنی تخلیقِ کائنات کے بعد اس کے تمام عوالم اور اَجرام میں اپنے قانون اور نظام کے اجراء کی صورت میں متمکن ہوا) وہی ہر کام کی تدبیر فرماتا ہے (یعنی ہر چیز کو ایک نظام کے تحت چلاتا ہے۔ اس کے حضور) اس کی اجازت کے بغیر کوئی سفارش کرنے والا نہیں، یہی (عظمت و قدرت والا) اللہ تمہارا رب ہے، سو تم اسی کی عبادت کرو، پس کیا تم (قبولِ نصیحت کے لئے) غور نہیں کرتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Verily your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority), regulating and governing all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His leave (hath been obtained). This is Allah your Lord; Him therefore serve ye: will ye not receive admonition?

| Tahir ul Qadri | وہی ہے جس نے سورج کو روشنی (کا منبع) بنایا اور چاند کو (اس سے) روشن (کیا) اور اس کے لئے (کم و بیش دکھائی دینے کی) منزلیں مقرر کیں تاکہ تم برسوں کا شمار اور (اوقات کا) حساب معلوم کر سکو، اور اللہ نے یہ (سب کچھ) نہیں پیدا فرمایا مگر درست تدبیر کے ساتھ، وہ (ان کائناتی حقیقتوں کے ذریعے اپنی خالقیت، وحدانیت اور قدرت کی) نشانیاں ان لوگوں کے لئے تفصیل سے واضح فرماتا ہے جو علم رکھتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | It is He Who made the sun to be a shining glory and the moon to be a light (of beauty), and measured out stages for her; that ye might know the number of years and the count (of time). Nowise did Allah create this but in truth and righteousness. (Thus) doth He explain His Signs in detail, for those who understand.
