| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [2:167] | Waqala allatheena ittabaAAoolaw anna lana karratan fanatabarraa minhum kamatabarraoo minna kathalika yureehimu AllahuaAAmalahum hasaratin AAalayhim wamahum bikharijeena mina alnnari |  وقال الذين اتبعوا لو أن لنا كرة فنتبرأ منهم كما تبرءوا منا كذلك يريهم الله أعمالهم حسرات عليهم وما هم بخارجين من الناروَقَالَ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُواْ لَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَتَبَرَّأَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تَبَرَّؤُواْ مِنَّا كَذَلِكَ يُرِيهِمُ اللّهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ حَسَرَاتٍ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَا هُم بِخَارِجِينَ مِنَ النَّارِ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (یہ بے زاری دیکھ کر مشرک) پیروکار کہیں گے: کاش! ہمیں (دنیا میں جانے کا) ایک موقع مل جائے تو ہم (بھی) ان سے بے زاری ظاہر کردیں جیسے انہوں نے (آج) ہم سے بے زاری ظاہر کی ہے، یوں اﷲ انہیں ان کے اپنے اعمال انہی پر حسرت بنا کر دکھائے گا، اور وہ (کسی صورت بھی) دوزخ سے نکلنے نہ پائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And those who followed would say: "If only We had one more chance, We would clear ourselves of them, as they have cleared themselves of us." Thus will Allah show them (The fruits of) their deeds as (nothing but) regrets. Nor will there be a way for them out of the Fire.

| Tahir ul Qadri | سو کاش ہمیں ایک بار (دنیا میں) پلٹنا (نصیب) ہو جاتا تو ہم مومن ہوجاتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "'Now if we only had a chance of return we shall truly be of those who believe!'"

| Tahir ul Qadri | یا عذاب دیکھتے وقت کہنے لگے کہ اگر ایک بار میرا دنیا میں لوٹنا ہو جائے تو میں نیکوکاروں میں سے ہو جاؤں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Or (lest) it should say when it (actually) sees the penalty: 'If only I had another chance, I should certainly be among those who do good!'
