| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [7:101] | Tilka alqura naqussu AAalaykamin anba-iha walaqad jaat-hum rusuluhum bialbayyinatifama kanoo liyu/minoo bima kaththaboomin qablu kathalika yatbaAAu Allahu AAalaquloobi alkafireena |  تلك القرى نقص عليك من أنبائها ولقد جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات فما كانوا ليؤمنوا بما كذبوا من قبل كذلك يطبع الله على قلوب الكافرينتِلْكَ الْقُرَى نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنبَآئِهَا وَلَقَدْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ بِمَا كَذَّبُواْ مِن قَبْلُ كَذَلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | یہ وہ بستیاں ہیں جن کی خبریں ہم آپ کو سنا رہے ہیں، اور بیشک ان کے پاس ان کے رسول روشن نشانیاں لے کر آئے تو وہ (پھر بھی) اس قابل نہ ہوئے کہ اس پر ایمان لے آتے جسے وہ پہلے جھٹلا چکے تھے، اس طرح اللہ کافروں کے دلوں پر مہر لگا دیتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Such were the towns whose story We (thus) relate unto thee: There came indeed to them their messengers with clear (signs): But they would not believe what they had rejected before. Thus doth Allah seal up the hearts of those who reject faith.

[11:120] | Wakullan naqussu AAalayka min anba-ialrrusuli ma nuthabbitu bihi fu-adaka wajaakafee hathihi alhaqqu wamawAAithatun wathikralilmu/mineena | وكلا نقص عليك من أنباء الرسل ما نثبت به فؤادك وجاءك في هذه الحق وموعظة وذكرى للمؤمنين وَكُـلاًّ نَّقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنبَاءِ الرُّسُلِ مَا نُثَبِّتُ بِهِ فُؤَادَكَ وَجَاءَكَ فِي هَـذِهِ الْحَقُّ وَمَوْعِظَةٌ وَذِكْرَى لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم رسولوں کی خبروں میں سے سب حالات آپ کو سنا رہے ہیں جس سے ہم آپ کے قلبِ (اَطہر) کو تقویت دیتے ہیں، اور آپ کے پاس اس (سورت) میں حق اور نصیحت آئی ہے اور اہلِ ایمان کے لئے عبرت (و یاددہانی بھی) | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | All that we relate to thee of the stories of the messengers,- with it We make firm thy heart: in them there cometh to thee the Truth, as well as an exhortation and a message of remembrance to those who believe.

[12:3] | Nahnu naqussu AAalayka ahsanaalqasasi bima awhayna ilayka hathaalqur-ana wa-in kunta min qablihi lamina alghafileena | نحن نقص عليك أحسن القصص بما أوحينا إليك هذا القرآن وإن كنت من قبله لمن الغافلين نَحْنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ أَحْسَنَ الْقَصَصِ بِمَا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ هَـذَا الْقُرْآنَ وَإِن كُنتَ مِن قَبْلِهِ لَمِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (اے حبیب!) ہم آپ سے ایک بہترین قصہ بیان کرتے ہیں اس قرآن کے ذریعہ جسے ہم نے آپ کی طرف وحی کیا ہے، اگرچہ آپ اس سے قبل (اس قصہ سے) بے خبر تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | We do relate unto thee the most beautiful of stories, in that We reveal to thee this (portion of the) Qur'an: before this, thou too was among those who knew it not.

| 4. [18:13] | Nahnu naqussu AAalaykanabaahum bialhaqqi innahum fityatun amanoobirabbihim wazidnahum hudan | نحن نقص عليك نبأهم بالحق إنهم فتية آمنوا بربهم وزدناهم هدى نَحْنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ نَبَأَهُم بِالْحَقِّ إِنَّهُمْ فِتْيَةٌ آمَنُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ وَزِدْنَاهُمْ هُدًى | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (اب) ہم آپ کو ان کا حال صحیح صحیح سناتے ہیں، بیشک وہ (چند) نوجوان تھے جو اپنے رب پر ایمان لائے اور ہم نے ان کے لئے (نورِ) ہدایت میں اور اضافہ فرما دیا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | We relate to thee their story in truth: they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We advanced them in guidance:

| 5. [20:99] | Kathalika naqussu AAalayka minanba-i ma qad sabaqa waqad ataynakamin ladunna thikran | كذلك نقص عليك من أنباء ما قد سبق وقد آتيناك من لدنا ذكرا كَذَلِكَ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنبَاءِ مَا قَدْ سَبَقَ وَقَدْ آتَيْنَاكَ مِن لَّدُنَّا ذِكْرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اس طرح ہم آپ کو (اے حبیبِ معظّم!) ان (قوموں) کی خبریں سناتے ہیں جو گزر چکی ہیں اور بیشک ہم نے آپ کو اپنی خاص جناب سے ذکر (یعنی نصیحت نامہ) عطا فرمایا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Thus do We relate to thee some stories of what happened before: for We have sent thee a Message from Our own Presence.
