| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [12:109] | Wama arsalna min qablika illarijalan noohee ilayhim min ahli alquraafalam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fayanthurookayfa kana AAaqibatu allatheena min qablihimwaladaru al-akhirati khayrun lillatheenaittaqaw afala taAAqiloona |  وما أرسلنا من قبلك إلا رجالا نوحي إليهم من أهل القرى أفلم يسيروا في الأرض فينظروا كيف كان عاقبة الذين من قبلهم ولدار الآخرة خير للذين اتقوا أفلا تعقلونوَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ إِلاَّ رِجَالاً نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْقُرَى أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَدَارُ الْآخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ اتَّقَواْ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم نے آپ سے پہلے بھی (مختلف) بستیوں والوں میں سے مَردوں ہی کو بھیجا تھا جن کی طرف ہم وحی فرماتے تھے، کیا ان لوگوں نے زمین میں سیر نہیں کی کہ وہ (خود) دیکھ لیتے کہ ان سے پہلے لوگوں کا انجام کیا ہوا، اور بیشک آخرت کا گھر پرہیزگاری اختیار کرنے والوں کے لئے بہتر ہے، کیا تم عقل نہیں رکھتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Nor did We send before thee (as messengers) any but men, whom we did inspire,- (men) living in human habitations. Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those before them? But the home of the hereafter is best, for those who do right. Will ye not then understand?

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور پرہیزگار لوگوں سے کہا جائے کہ تمہارے رب نے کیا نازل فرمایا ہے؟ وہ کہتے ہیں: (دنیا و آخرت کی) بھلائی (اتاری ہے)، ان لوگوں کے لئے جو نیکی کرتے رہے اس دنیا میں (بھی) بھلائی ہے، اور آخرت کا گھر تو ضرور ہی بہتر ہے، اور پرہیزگاروں کا گھر کیا ہی خوب ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | To the righteous (when) it is said, "What is it that your Lord has revealed?" they say, "All that is good." To those who do good, there is good in this world, and the Home of the Hereafter is even better and excellent indeed is the Home of the righteous,-
