[3:162] | Afamani ittabaAAa ridwana Allahikaman baa bisakhatin mina Allahi wama/wahujahannamu wabi/sa almaseeru |  أفمن اتبع رضوان الله كمن باء بسخط من الله ومأواه جهنم وبئس المصيرأَفَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَ اللّهِ كَمَن بَاءَ بِسَخَطٍ مِّنَ اللّهِ وَمَأْوَاهُ جَهَنَّمُ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | بھلا وہ شخص جو اللہ کی مرضی کے تابع ہو گیا اس شخص کی طرح کیسے ہو سکتا ہے جو اللہ کے غضب کا سزاوار ہوا اور اس کا ٹھکانا جہنم ہے، اور وہ بہت ہی بری جگہ ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Is the man who follows the good pleasure of Allah Like the man who draws on himself the wrath of Allah, and whose abode is in Hell?- A woeful refuge!

[5:80] | Tara katheeran minhum yatawallawnaallatheena kafaroo labi/sa ma qaddamat lahumanfusuhum an sakhita Allahu AAalayhim wafee alAAathabihum khalidoona | ترى كثيرا منهم يتولون الذين كفروا لبئس ما قدمت لهم أنفسهم أن سخط الله عليهم وفي العذاب هم خالدون تَرَى كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتَوَلَّوْنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَبِئْسَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ لَهُمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ أَن سَخِطَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَفِي الْعَذَابِ هُمْ خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | آپ ان میں سے اکثر لوگوں کو دیکھیں گے کہ وہ کافروں سے دوستی رکھتے ہیں۔ کیا ہی بری چیز ہے جو انہوں نے اپنے (حسابِ آخرت) کے لئے آگے بھیج رکھی ہے (اور وہ) یہ کہ اﷲ ان پر (سخت) ناراض ہوگیا، اور وہ لوگ ہمیشہ عذاب ہی میں (گرفتار) رہنے والے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Thou seest many of them turning in friendship to the Unbelievers. Evil indeed are (the works) which their souls have sent forward before them (with the result), that Allah's wrath is on them, and in torment will they abide.

[9:58] | Waminhum man yalmizuka fee alssadaqatifa-in oAAtoo minha radoo wa-in lam yuAAtawminha itha hum yaskhatoona | ومنهم من يلمزك في الصدقات فإن أعطوا منها رضوا وإن لم يعطوا منها إذا هم يسخطون وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَلْمِزُكَ فِي الصَّدَقَاتِ فَإِنْ أُعْطُواْ مِنْهَا رَضُواْ وَإِن لَّمْ يُعْطَوْاْ مِنهَا إِذَا هُمْ يَسْخَطُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ان ہی میں سے بعض ایسے ہیں جو صدقات (کی تقسیم) میں آپ پر طعنہ زنی کرتے ہیں، پھر اگر انہیں ان (صدقات) میں سے کچھ دے دیا جائے تو وہ راضی ہو جائیں اور اگر انہیں اس میں سے کچھ نہ دیا جائے تو وہ فوراً خفا ہو جاتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And among them are men who slander thee in the matter of (the distribution of) the alms: if they are given part thereof, they are pleased, but if not, behold! they are indignant!

| 4. [47:28] | Thalika bi-annahumu ittabaAAoo maaskhata Allaha wakarihoo ridwanahufaahbata aAAmalahum | ذلك بأنهم اتبعوا ما أسخط الله وكرهوا رضوانه فأحبط أعمالهم ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ اتَّبَعُوا مَا أَسْخَطَ اللَّهَ وَكَرِهُوا رِضْوَانَهُ فَأَحْبَطَ أَعْمَالَهُمْ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یہ اس وجہ سے ہے کہ انہوں نے اُس (رَوِش) کی پیروی کی جو اﷲ کو ناراض کرتی ہے اور انہوں نے اس کی رضا کو ناپسند کیا تو اس نے ان کے (جملہ) اعمال اکارت کر دیئے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | This because they followed that which called forth the Wrath of Allah, and they hated Allah's good pleasure; so He made their deeds of no effect.
