| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [6:144] | Wamina al-ibili ithnayni wamina albaqariithnayni qul alththakarayni harramaami alonthayayni amma ishtamalat AAalayhi arhamualonthayayni am kuntum shuhadaa ith wassakumuAllahu bihatha faman athlamu mimmaniiftara AAala Allahi kathiban liyudillaalnnasa bighayri AAilmin inna Allaha layahdee alqawma alththalimeena |  ومن الإبل اثنين ومن البقر اثنين قل آلذكرين حرم أم الأنثيين أما اشتملت عليه أرحام الأنثيين أم كنتم شهداء إذ وصاكم الله بهذا فمن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا ليضل الناس بغير علم إن الله لا يهدي القوم الظالمينوَمِنَ الْإِبْلِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ اثْنَيْنِ قُلْ آلذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ وَصَّاكُمُ اللّهُ بِهَـذَا فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللّهِ كَذِبًا لِيُضِلَّ النَّاسَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور دو (نر و مادہ) اونٹ سے اور دو (نر و مادہ) گائے سے۔ (آپ ان سے) فرما دیجئے: کیا اس نے دونوں نر حرام کئے ہیں یا دونوں مادہ یا وہ (بچہ) جو دونوں ماداؤں کے رحموں میں موجود ہے؟ کیا تم اس وقت موجود تھے جب اﷲ نے تمہیں اس (حرمت) کا حکم دیا تھا؟ پھر اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہو سکتا ہے جو اﷲ پر جھوٹا بہتان باندھتا ہے تاکہ لوگوں کو بغیر جانے گمراہ کرتا پھرے۔ بیشک اﷲ ظالم قوم کو ہدایت نہیں فرماتا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Of camels a pair, and oxen a pair; say, hath He forbidden the two males, or the two females, or (the young) which the wombs of the two females enclose? - Were ye present when Allah ordered you such a thing? But who doth more wrong than one who invents a lie against Allah, to lead astray men without knowledge? For Allah guideth not people who do wrong.

[6:145] | Qul la ajidu feema oohiyailayya muharraman AAala taAAimin yatAAamuhuilla an yakoona maytatan aw daman masfoohan aw lahmakhinzeerin fa-innahu rijsun aw fisqan ohilla lighayri Allahibihi famani idturra ghayra baghin wala AAadinfa-inna rabbaka ghafoorun raheemun | قل لا أجد في ما أوحي إلي محرما على طاعم يطعمه إلا أن يكون ميتة أو دما مسفوحا أو لحم خنزير فإنه رجس أو فسقا أهل لغير الله به فمن اضطر غير باغ ولا عاد فإن ربك غفور رحيم قُل لاَّ أَجِدُ فِي مَا أُوْحِيَ إِلَيَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلَى طَاعِمٍ يَطْعَمُهُ إِلاَّ أَن يَكُونَ مَيْتَةً أَوْ دَمًا مَّسْفُوحًا أَوْ لَحْمَ خِنْـزِيرٍ فَإِنَّهُ رِجْسٌ أَوْ فِسْقًا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللّهِ بِهِ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلاَ عَادٍ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | آپ فرما دیں کہ میری طرف جو وحی بھیجی گئی ہے اس میں تو میں کسی (بھی) کھانے والے پر (ایسی چیز کو) جسے وہ کھاتا ہو حرام نہیں پاتا سوائے اس کے کہ وہ مُردار ہو یا بہتا ہوا خون ہو یا سؤر کا گوشت ہو کیو نکہ یہ ناپاک ہے یا نافرمانی کا جانور جس پر ذبح کے وقت غیر اﷲ کا نام بلند کیا گیا ہو۔ پھر جو شخص (بھوک کے باعث) سخت لاچار ہو جائے نہ تو نافرمانی کر رہا ہو اور نہ حد سے تجاوز کر رہا ہو تو بیشک آپ کا رب بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت مہربان ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "I find not in the message received by me by inspiration any (meat) forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat it, unless it be dead meat, or blood poured forth, or the flesh of swine,- for it is an abomination - or, what is impious, (meat) on which a name has been invoked, other than Allah's". But (even so), if a person is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- thy Lord is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

[6:146] | WaAAala allatheena hadooharramna kulla thee thufurinwamina albaqari waalghanami harramnaAAalayhim shuhoomahuma illa ma hamalatthuhooruhuma awi alhawayaaw ma ikhtalata biAAathmin thalikajazaynahum bibaghyihim wa-inna lasadiqoona | وعلى الذين هادوا حرمنا كل ذي ظفر ومن البقر والغنم حرمنا عليهم شحومهما إلا ما حملت ظهورهما أو الحوايا أو ما اختلط بعظم ذلك جزيناهم ببغيهم وإنا لصادقون وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ هَادُواْ حَرَّمْنَا كُلَّ ذِي ظُفُرٍ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ وَالْغَنَمِ حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ شُحُومَهُمَا إِلاَّ مَا حَمَلَتْ ظُهُورُهُمَا أَوِ الْحَوَايَا أَوْ مَا اخْتَلَطَ بِعَظْمٍ ذَلِكَ جَزَيْنَاهُم بِبَغْيِهِمْ وِإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یہودیوں پر ہم نے ہر ناخن والا (جانور) حرام کر دیا تھا اور گائے اور بکری میں سے ہم نے ان پر دونوں کی چربی حرام کر دی تھی سوائے اس (چربی) کے جو دونوں کی پیٹھ میں ہو یا اوجھڑی میں لگی ہو یا جو ہڈی کے ساتھ ملی ہو۔ یہ ہم نے ان کی سرکشی کے باعث انہیں سزا دی تھی اور یقینا ہم سچے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | For those who followed the Jewish Law, We forbade every (animal) with undivided hoof, and We forbade them that fat of the ox and the sheep, except what adheres to their backs or their entrails, or is mixed up with a bone: this in recompense for their wilful disobedience: for We are true (in Our ordinances).

[6:148] | Sayaqoolu allatheena ashrakoo law shaaAllahu ma ashrakna wala abaonawala harramna min shay-in kathalikakaththaba allatheena min qablihim hattathaqoo ba/sana qul hal AAindakum min AAilminfatukhrijoohu lana in tattabiAAoona illa alththannawa-in antum illa takhrusoona | سيقول الذين أشركوا لو شاء الله ما أشركنا ولا آباؤنا ولا حرمنا من شيء كذلك كذب الذين من قبلهم حتى ذاقوا بأسنا قل هل عندكم من علم فتخرجوه لنا إن تتبعون إلا الظن وإن أنتم إلا تخرصون سَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ لَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ مَا أَشْرَكْنَا وَلاَ آبَاؤُنَا وَلاَ حَرَّمْنَا مِن شَيْءٍ كَذَلِكَ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم حَتَّى ذَاقُواْ بَأْسَنَا قُلْ هَلْ عِندَكُم مِّنْ عِلْمٍ فَتُخْرِجُوهُ لَنَا إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلاَّ الظَّنَّ وَإِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ تَخْرُصُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جلد ہی مشرک لوگ کہیں گے کہ اگر اﷲ چاہتا تو نہ (ہی) ہم شرک کرتے اور نہ ہمارے آباء و اجداد اور نہ کسی چیز کو (بلا سند) حرام قرار دیتے۔ اسی طرح ان لوگوں نے بھی جھٹلایا تھا جو ان سے پہلے تھے حتٰی کہ انہوں نے ہمارا عذاب چکھ لیا۔ فرما دیجئے: کیا تمہارے پاس کوئی (قابلِ حجت) علم ہے کہ تم اسے ہمارے لئے نکال لاؤ (تو اسے پیش کرو)، تم (علمِ یقینی کو چھوڑ کر) صرف گمان ہی کی پیروی کرتے ہو اور تم محض (تخمینہ کی بنیاد پر) دروغ گوئی کرتے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who give partners (to Allah) will say: "If Allah had wished, we should not have given partners to Him nor would our fathers; nor should we have had any taboos." So did their ancestors argue falsely, until they tasted of Our wrath. Say: "Have ye any (certain) knowledge? If so, produce it before us. Ye follow nothing but conjecture: ye do nothing but lie."

| 5. [6:150] | Qul halumma shuhadaakumu allatheenayashhadoona anna Allaha harrama hatha fa-inshahidoo fala tashhad maAAahum wala tattabiAA ahwaaallatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinawaallatheena la yu/minoona bial-akhiratiwahum birabbihim yaAAdiloona | قل هلم شهداءكم الذين يشهدون أن الله حرم هذا فإن شهدوا فلا تشهد معهم ولا تتبع أهواء الذين كذبوا بآياتنا والذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة وهم بربهم يعدلون قُلْ هَلُمَّ شُهَدَاءَكُمُ الَّذِينَ يَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّ اللّهَ حَرَّمَ هَـذَا فَإِن شَهِدُواْ فَلاَ تَشْهَدْ مَعَهُمْ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَالَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ وَهُم بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (ان مشرکوں سے) فرما دیجئے کہ تم اپنے ان گواہوں کو پیش کرو جو (آکر) اس بات کی گواہی دیں کہ اﷲ نے اسے حرام کیا ہے، پھر اگر وہ (جھوٹی) گواہی دے ہی دیں تو ان کی گواہی کو تسلیم نہ کرنا (بلکہ ان کا جھوٹا ہونا ان پر آشکار کر دینا)، اور نہ ایسے لوگوں کی خواہشات کی پیروی کرنا جو ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلاتے ہیں اور جو آخرت پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے اور وہ (معبودانِ باطلہ کو) اپنے رب کے برابر ٹھہراتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "Bring forward your witnesses to prove that Allah did forbid so and so." If they bring such witnesses, be not thou amongst them: Nor follow thou the vain desires of such as treat our signs as falsehoods, and such as believe not in the Hereafter: for they hold others as equal with their Guardian-Lord.

[6:151] | Qul taAAalaw atlu ma harramarabbukum AAalaykum alla tushrikoo bihi shay-an wabialwalidayniihsanan wala taqtuloo awladakum minimlaqin nahnu narzuqukum wa-iyyahum walataqraboo alfawahisha ma thahara minhawama batana wala taqtuloo alnnafsaallatee harrama Allahu illa bialhaqqithalikum wassakum bihi laAAallakum taAAqiloona | قل تعالوا أتل ما حرم ربكم عليكم ألا تشركوا به شيئا وبالوالدين إحسانا ولا تقتلوا أولادكم من إملاق نحن نرزقكم وإياهم ولا تقربوا الفواحش ما ظهر منها وما بطن ولا تقتلوا النفس التي حرم الله إلا بالحق ذلكم وصاكم به لعلكم تعقلون قُلْ تَعَالَوْاْ أَتْلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ أَلاَّ تُشْرِكُواْ بِهِ شَيْئًا وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَلاَ تَقْتُلُواْ أَوْلاَدَكُم مِّنْ إمْلاَقٍ نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُكُمْ وَإِيَّاهُمْ وَلاَ تَقْرَبُواْ الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَلاَ تَقْتُلُواْ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللّهُ إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | فرما دیجئے: آؤ میں وہ چیزیں پڑھ کر سنا دوں جو تمہارے رب نے تم پر حرام کی ہیں (وہ) یہ کہ تم اس کے ساتھ کسی چیز کو شریک نہ ٹھہراؤ اور ماں باپ کے ساتھ اچھا سلوک کرو، اور مفلسی کے باعث اپنی اولاد کو قتل مت کرو۔ ہم ہی تمہیں رزق دیتے ہیں اور انہیں بھی (دیں گے)، اور بے حیائی کے کاموں کے قریب نہ جاؤ (خواہ) وہ ظاہر ہوں اور (خواہ) وہ پوشیدہ ہوں، اور اس جان کو قتل نہ کرو جسے (قتل کرنا) اﷲ نے حرام کیا ہے بجز حقِ (شرعی) کے، یہی وہ (امور) ہیں جن کا اس نے تمہیں تاکیدی حکم دیا ہے تاکہ تم عقل سے کام لو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "Come, I will rehearse what Allah hath (really) prohibited you from": Join not anything as equal with Him; be good to your parents; kill not your children on a plea of want;- We provide sustenance for you and for them;- come not nigh to shameful deeds. Whether open or secret; take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom.

[6:152] | Wala taqraboo mala alyateemiilla biallatee hiya ahsanu hattayablugha ashuddahu waawfoo alkayla waalmeezana bialqistila nukallifu nafsan illa wusAAaha wa-ithaqultum faiAAdiloo walaw kana tha qurbawabiAAahdi Allahi awfoo thalikum wassakumbihi laAAallakum tathakkaroona | ولا تقربوا مال اليتيم إلا بالتي هي أحسن حتى يبلغ أشده وأوفوا الكيل والميزان بالقسط لا نكلف نفسا إلا وسعها وإذا قلتم فاعدلوا ولو كان ذا قربى وبعهد الله أوفوا ذلكم وصاكم به لعلكم تذكرون وَلاَ تَقْرَبُواْ مَالَ الْيَتِيمِ إِلاَّ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَأَوْفُواْ الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ بِالْقِسْطِ لاَ نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا وَإِذَا قُلْتُمْ فَاعْدِلُواْ وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى وَبِعَهْدِ اللّهِ أَوْفُواْ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُم بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یتیم کے مال کے قریب مت جانا مگر ایسے طریق سے جو بہت ہی پسندیدہ ہو یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنی جوانی کو پہنچ جائے، اور پیمانے اور ترازو (یعنی ناپ اور تول) کو انصاف کے ساتھ پورا کیا کرو۔ ہم کسی شخص کو اس کی طاقت سے زیادہ تکلیف نہیں دیتے، اور جب تم (کسی کی نسبت کچھ) کہو تو عدل کرو اگرچہ وہ (تمہارا) قرابت دار ہی ہو، اور اﷲ کے عہد کو پورا کیا کرو، یہی (باتیں) ہیں جن کا اس نے تمہیں تاکیدی حکم دیا ہے تاکہ تم نصیحت قبول کرو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And come not nigh to the orphan's property, except to improve it, until he attain the age of full strength; give measure and weight with (full) justice;- no burden do We place on any soul, but that which it can bear;- whenever ye speak, speak justly, even if a near relative is concerned; and fulfil the covenant of Allah: thus doth He command you, that ye may remember.

[6:157] | Aw taqooloo law anna onzila AAalaynaalkitabu lakunna ahda minhum faqad jaakumbayyinatun min rabbikum wahudan warahmatun faman athlamumimman kaththaba bi-ayati Allahi wasadafaAAanha sanajzee allatheena yasdifoona AAan ayatinasoo-a alAAathabi bima kanoo yasdifoona | أو تقولوا لو أنا أنزل علينا الكتاب لكنا أهدى منهم فقد جاءكم بينة من ربكم وهدى ورحمة فمن أظلم ممن كذب بآيات الله وصدف عنها سنجزي الذين يصدفون عن آياتنا سوء العذاب بما كانوا يصدفون أَوْ تَقُولُواْ لَوْ أَنَّا أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا الْكِتَابُ لَكُنَّا أَهْدَى مِنْهُمْ فَقَدْ جَاءَكُم بَيِّنَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَّبَ بِآيَاتِ اللّهِ وَصَدَفَ عَنْهَا سَنَجْزِي الَّذِينَ يَصْدِفُونَ عَنْ آيَاتِنَا سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَصْدِفُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یا یہ (نہ) کہو کہ اگر ہم پر کتاب اتاری جاتی تو ہم یقیناً ان سے زیادہ ہدایت یافتہ ہوتے، سو اب تمہارے رب کی طرف تمہارے پاس واضح دلیل اور ہدایت اور رحمت آچکی ہے، پھر اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہو سکتا ہے جو اﷲ کی آیتوں کو جھٹلائے اور ان سے کترائے۔ ہم عنقریب ان لوگوں کو جو ہماری آیتوں سے گریز کرتے ہیں برے عذاب کی سزا دیں گے اس وجہ سے کہ وہ (آیاتِ ربّانی سے) اِعراض کرتے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Or lest ye should say: "If the Book had only been sent down to us, we should have followed its guidance better than they." Now then hath come unto you a clear (sign) from your Lord,- and a guide and a mercy: then who could do more wrong than one who rejecteth Allah's signs, and turneth away therefrom? In good time shall We requite those who turn away from Our signs, with a dreadful penalty, for their turning away.

[6:158] | Hal yanthuroona illaan ta/tiyahumu almala-ikatu aw ya/tiya rabbuka aw ya/tiyabaAAdu ayati rabbika yawma ya/tee baAAduayati rabbika la yanfaAAu nafsan eemanuhalam takun amanat min qablu aw kasabat fee eemanihakhayran quli intathiroo inna muntathiroona | هل ينظرون إلا أن تأتيهم الملائكة أو يأتي ربك أو يأتي بعض آيات ربك يوم يأتي بعض آيات ربك لا ينفع نفسا إيمانها لم تكن آمنت من قبل أو كسبت في إيمانها خيرا قل انتظروا إنا منتظرون هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلاَّ أَن تَأْتِيهُمُ الْمَلَآئِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ رَبُّكَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ بَعْضُ آيَاتِ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِي بَعْضُ آيَاتِ رَبِّكَ لاَ يَنفَعُ نَفْسًا إِيمَانُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ آمَنَتْ مِن قَبْلُ أَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِي إِيمَانِهَا خَيْرًا قُلِ انتَظِرُواْ إِنَّا مُنتَظِرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ فقط اسی انتظار میں ہیں کہ ان کے پاس (عذاب کے) فرشتے آپہنچیں یا آپ کا رب (خود) آجائے یا آپ کے رب کی کچھ (مخصوص) نشانیاں (عیاناً) آجائیں۔ (انہیں بتا دیجئے کہ) جس دن آپ کے رب کی بعض نشانیاں (یوں ظاہراً) آپہنچیں گی (تو اس وقت) کسی (ایسے) شخص کا ایمان اسے فائدہ نہیں پہنچائے گا جو پہلے سے ایمان نہیں لایا تھا یا اس نے اپنے ایمان (کی حالت) میں کوئی نیکی نہیں کمائی تھی، فرما دیجئے: تم انتظار کرو ہم (بھی) منتظر ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Are they waiting to see if the angels come to them, or thy Lord (Himself), or certain of the signs of thy Lord! the day that certain of the signs of thy Lord do come, no good will it do to a soul to believe in them then if it believed not before nor earned righteousness through its faith. Say: "Wait ye: we too are waiting."

[6:159] | Inna allatheena farraqoo deenahumwakanoo shiyaAAan lasta minhum fee shay-in innamaamruhum ila Allahi thumma yunabbi-ohum bimakanoo yafAAaloona | إن الذين فرقوا دينهم وكانوا شيعا لست منهم في شيء إنما أمرهم إلى الله ثم ينبئهم بما كانوا يفعلون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُواْ دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُواْ شِيَعًا لَّسْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُمْ إِلَى اللّهِ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک جن لوگوں نے (جدا جدا راہیں نکال کر) اپنے دین کو پارہ پارہ کر دیا اور وہ (مختلف) فرقوں میں بٹ گئے، آپ کسی چیز میں ان کے (تعلق دار اور ذمہ دار) نہیں ہیں، بس ان کا معاملہ اﷲ ہی کے حوالے ہے پھر وہ انہیں ان کاموں سے آگاہ فرما دے گا جو وہ کیا کرتے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects, thou hast no part in them in the least: their affair is with Allah: He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did.

[6:161] | Qul innanee hadanee rabbee ilasiratin mustaqeemin deenan qiyaman millata ibraheemahaneefan wama kana mina almushrikeena | قل إنني هداني ربي إلى صراط مستقيم دينا قيما ملة إبراهيم حنيفا وما كان من المشركين قُلْ إِنَّنِي هَدَانِي رَبِّي إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ دِينًا قِيَمًا مِّلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | فرما دیجئے: بیشک مجھے میرے رب نے سیدھے راستے کی ہدایت فرما دی ہے، (یہ) مضبوط دین (کی راہ ہے اور یہی) اﷲ کی طرف یک سو اور ہر باطل سے جدا ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کی ملت ہے، اور وہ مشرکوں میں سے نہ تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "Verily, my Lord hath guided me to a way that is straight,- a religion of right,- the path (trod) by Abraham the true in Faith, and he (certainly) joined not gods with Allah."

| Tahir ul Qadri | فرما دیجئے کہ بیشک میری نماز اور میرا حج اور قربانی (سمیت سب بندگی) اور میری زندگی اور میری موت اﷲ کے لئے ہے جو تمام جہانوں کا رب ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "Truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, are (all) for Allah, the Cherisher of the Worlds:

| Tahir ul Qadri | اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں اور اسی کا مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے اور میں (جمیع مخلوقات میں) سب سے پہلا مسلمان ہوں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | No partner hath He: this am I commanded, and I am the first of those who bow to His will.

[6:164] | Qul aghayra Allahi abghee rabbanwahuwa rabbu kulli shay-in wala taksibu kullu nafsin illaAAalayha wala taziru waziratun wizra okhrathumma ila rabbikum marjiAAukum fayunabbi-okum bimakuntum feehi takhtalifoona | قل أغير الله أبغي ربا وهو رب كل شيء ولا تكسب كل نفس إلا عليها ولا تزر وازرة وزر أخرى ثم إلى ربكم مرجعكم فينبئكم بما كنتم فيه تختلفون قُلْ أَغَيْرَ اللّهِ أَبْغِي رَبًّا وَهُوَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَلاَ تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ إِلاَّ عَلَيْهَا وَلاَ تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى ثُمَّ إِلَى رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | فرما دیجئے: کیا میں اﷲ کے سوا کوئی دوسرا رب تلاش کروں حالانکہ وہی ہر شے کا پروردگار ہے، اور ہر شخص جو بھی (گناہ) کرتا ہے (اس کا وبال) اسی پر ہوتا ہے اور کوئی بوجھ اٹھانے والا دوسرے کا بوجھ نہیں اٹھائے گا۔ پھر تمہیں اپنے رب ہی کی طرف لوٹنا ہے پھر وہ تمہیں ان (باتوں کی حقیقت) سے آگاہ فرما دے گا جن میں تم اختلاف کیا کرتے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "Shall I seek for (my) Cherisher other than Allah, when He is the Cherisher of all things (that exist)? Every soul draws the meed of its acts on none but itself: no bearer of burdens can bear of burdens can bear the burden of another. Your goal in the end is towards Allah: He will tell you the truth of the things wherein ye disputed."

[6:165] | Wahuwa allathee jaAAalakum khala-ifaal-ardi warafaAAa baAAdakum fawqa baAAdindarajatin liyabluwakum fee ma atakuminna rabbaka sareeAAu alAAiqabi wa-innahu laghafoorun raheemun | وهو الذي جعلكم خلائف الأرض ورفع بعضكم فوق بعض درجات ليبلوكم في ما آتاكم إن ربك سريع العقاب وإنه لغفور رحيم وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلاَئِفَ الْأَرْضِ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَكُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَا آتَاكُمْ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ سَرِيعُ الْعِقَابِ وَإِنَّهُ لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور وہی ہے جس نے تم کو زمین میں نائب بنایا اور تم میں سے بعض کو بعض پر درجات میں بلند کیا تاکہ وہ ان (چیزوں) میں تمہیں آزمائے جو اس نے تمہیں (امانتاً) عطا کر رکھی ہیں۔ بیشک آپ کا رب (عذاب کے حق داروں کو) جلد سزا دینے والا ہے اور بیشک وہ (مغفرت کے امیدواروں کو) بڑا بخشنے والا اور بے حد رحم فرمانے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | It is He Who hath made you (His) agents, inheritors of the earth: He hath raised you in ranks, some above others: that He may try you in the gifts He hath given you: for thy Lord is quick in punishment: yet He is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
