| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [9:28] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooinnama almushrikoona najasun fala yaqrabooalmasjida alharama baAAda AAamihim hathawa-in khiftum AAaylatan fasawfa yughneekumu Allahu min fadlihiin shaa inna Allaha AAaleemun hakeemun |  يا أيها الذين آمنوا إنما المشركون نجس فلا يقربوا المسجد الحرام بعد عامهم هذا وإن خفتم عيلة فسوف يغنيكم الله من فضله إن شاء إن الله عليم حكيميَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ إِنَّمَا الْمُشْرِكُونَ نَجَسٌ فَلاَ يَقْرَبُواْ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ بَعْدَ عَامِهِمْ هَـذَا وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ عَيْلَةً فَسَوْفَ يُغْنِيكُمُ اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ إِن شَاءَ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ایمان والو! مشرکین تو سراپا نجاست ہیں سو وہ اپنے اس سال کے بعد (یعنی فتحِ مکہ کے بعد 9 ھ سے) مسجدِ حرام کے قریب نہ آنے پائیں، اور اگر تمہیں (تجارت میں کمی کے باعث) مفلسی کا ڈر ہے تو (گھبراؤ نہیں) عنقریب اللہ اگر چاہے گا تو تمہیں اپنے فضل سے مال دار کر دے گا، بیشک اللہ خوب جاننے والا بڑی حکمت والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O ye who believe! Truly the Pagans are unclean; so let them not, after this year of theirs, approach the Sacred Mosque. And if ye fear poverty, soon will Allah enrich you, if He wills, out of His bounty, for Allah is All-knowing, All-wise.

So let them not come near Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah) after this year, and if you fear poverty, Allah will enrich you if He will, out of His Bounty. Surely, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. | ||||||
| QXP Shabbir Ahemd** | O You who have chosen to be graced with belief! The idolaters have made their hearts unclean (and the Sacred Masjid of Makkah is the House of Pure Monotheism. Only those who believe in the Divine System can administer this Sacred House (9:18)). So let not the Idolaters come close to it after this year. If you fear scarcity of trade, Allah will enrich you with His Bounty. This is the Promise of Allah who is Knower, Wise. | ||||||
