| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [3:139] | Wala tahinoo wala tahzanoowaantumu al-aAAlawna in kuntum mu/mineena |  ولا تهنوا ولا تحزنوا وأنتم الأعلون إن كنتم مؤمنينوَلاَ تَهِنُوا وَلاَ تَحْزَنُوا وَأَنتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||

[3:153] | Ith tusAAidoona walatalwoona AAala ahadin waalrrasooluyadAAookum fee okhrakum faathabakum ghammanbighammin likay la tahzanoo AAala mafatakum wala ma asabakum waAllahukhabeerun bima taAAmaloona | إذ تصعدون ولا تلوون على أحد والرسول يدعوكم في أخراكم فأثابكم غما بغم لكيلا تحزنوا على ما فاتكم ولا ما أصابكم والله خبير بما تعملون إِذْ تُصْعِدُونَ وَلاَ تَلْوُونَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ وَالرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ فِي أُخْرَاكُمْ فَأَثَابَكُمْ غَمًّا بِغَمٍّ لِّكَيْلاَ تَحْزَنُواْ عَلَى مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلاَ مَا أَصَابَكُمْ وَاللّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جب تم (افراتفری کی حالت میں) بھاگے جا رہے تھے اور کسی کو مڑ کر نہیں دیکھتے تھے اور رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اس جماعت میں (کھڑے) جو تمہارے پیچھے (ثابت قدم) رہی تھی تمہیں پکار رہے تھے پھر اس نے تمہیں غم پر غم دیا (یہ نصیحت و تربیت تھی) تاکہ تم اس پر جو تمہارے ہاتھ سے جاتا رہا اور اس مصیبت پر جو تم پر آن پڑی رنج نہ کرو، اور اللہ تمہارے کاموں سے خبردار ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Behold! ye were climbing up the high ground, without even casting a side glance at any one, and the Messenger in your rear was calling you back. There did Allah give you one distress after another by way of requital, to teach you not to grieve for (the booty) that had escaped you and for (the ill) that had befallen you. For Allah is well aware of all that ye do.

[41:30] | Inna allatheena qaloo rabbunaAllahu thumma istaqamoo tatanazzalu AAalayhimualmala-ikatu alla takhafoo wala tahzanoowaabshiroo bialjannati allatee kuntum tooAAadoona | إن الذين قالوا ربنا الله ثم استقاموا تتنزل عليهم الملائكة ألا تخافوا ولا تحزنوا وأبشروا بالجنة التي كنتم توعدون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بے شک جن لوگوں نے کہا: ہمارا رب اﷲ ہے، پھر وہ (اِس پر مضبوطی سے) قائم ہوگئے، تو اُن پر فرشتے اترتے ہیں (اور کہتے ہیں) کہ تم خوف نہ کرو اور نہ غم کرو اور تم جنت کی خوشیاں مناؤ جس کا تم سے وعدہ کیا جاتا تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | In the case of those who say, "Our Lord is Allah", and, further, stand straight and steadfast, the angels descend on them (from time to time): "Fear ye not!" (they suggest), "Nor grieve! but receive the Glad Tidings of the Garden (of Bliss), the which ye were promised!
