| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [13:34] | Lahum AAathabun fee alhayatialddunya walaAAathabu al-akhiratiashaqqu wama lahum mina Allahi min waqin |  لهم عذاب في الحياة الدنيا ولعذاب الآخرة أشق وما لهم من الله من واقلَّهُمْ عَذَابٌ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَشَقُّ وَمَا لَهُم مِّنَ اللّهِ مِن وَاقٍ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | ان کے لئے دنیوی زندگی میں (بھی) عذاب ہے اور یقیناً آخرت کا عذاب زیادہ سخت ہے، اور انہیں اﷲ (کے عذاب) سے کوئی بچانے والا نہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | For them is a penalty in the life of this world, but harder, truly, is the penalty of the Hereafter: and defender have they none against Allah.

| 2. [20:127] | Wakathalika najzee man asrafa walamyu/min bi-ayati rabbihi walaAAathabu al-akhiratiashaddu waabqa | وكذلك نجزي من أسرف ولم يؤمن بآيات ربه ولعذاب الآخرة أشد وأبقى وَكَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي مَنْ أَسْرَفَ وَلَمْ يُؤْمِن بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَشَدُّ وَأَبْقَى | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اسی طرح ہم اس شخص کو بدلہ دیتے ہیں جو (گناہوں میں) حد سے نکل جائے اور اپنے رب کی آیتوں پر ایمان نہ لائے، اور بیشک آخرت کا عذاب بڑا ہی سخت اور ہمیشہ رہنے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And thus do We recompense him who transgresses beyond bounds and believes not in the Signs of his Lord: and the Penalty of the Hereafter is far more grievous and more enduring.

[39:26] | Faathaqahumu Allahu alkhizyafee alhayati alddunya walaAAathabual-akhirati akbaru law kanoo yaAAlamoona | فأذاقهم الله الخزي في الحياة الدنيا ولعذاب الآخرة أكبر لو كانوا يعلمون فَأَذَاقَهُمُ اللَّهُ الْخِزْيَ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پس اللہ نے انہیں دنیا کی زندگی میں (ہی) ذِلّت و رسوائی کا مزہ چکھا دیا اور یقیناً آخرت کا عذاب کہیں بڑا ہے، کاش وہ جانتے ہوتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | So Allah gave them a taste of humiliation in the present life, but greater is the punishment of the Hereafter, if they only knew!

[41:16] | Faarsalna AAalayhim reehan sarsaranfee ayyamin nahisatin linutheeqahumAAathaba alkhizyi fee alhayati alddunyawalaAAathabu al-akhirati akhza wahum layunsaroona | فأرسلنا عليهم ريحا صرصرا في أيام نحسات لنذيقهم عذاب الخزي في الحياة الدنيا ولعذاب الآخرة أخزى وهم لا ينصرون فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيْحًا صَرْصَرًا فِي أَيَّامٍ نَّحِسَاتٍ لِّنُذِيقَهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَخْزَى وَهُمْ لَا يُنصَرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | سو ہم نے اُن پر منحوس دنوں میں خوفناک تیز و تُند آندھی بھیجی تاکہ ہم انہیں دنیوی زندگی میں ذِلت کے عذاب کا مزہ چکھائیں، اور آخرت کا عذاب تو سب سے زیادہ ذِلت انگیز ہوگا اور اُن کی کوئی مدد نہ کی جائے گی | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | So We sent against them a furious Wind through days of disaster, that We might give them a taste of a Penalty of humiliation in this life; but the Penalty of a Hereafter will be more humiliating still: and they will find no help.

| Tahir ul Qadri | عذاب اسی طرح ہوتا ہے، اور واقعی آخرت کا عذاب (اِس سے) کہیں بڑھ کر ہے، کاش! وہ لوگ جانتے ہوتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Such is the Punishment (in this life); but greater is the Punishment in the Hereafter,- if only they knew!
