| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[16:56] | WayajAAaloona lima layaAAlamoona naseeban mimma razaqnahum taAllahilatus-alunna AAamma kuntum taftaroona |  ويجعلون لما لا يعلمون نصيبا مما رزقناهم تالله لتسألن عما كنتم تفترونوَيَجْعَلُونَ لِمَا لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ نَصِيبًا مِّمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ تَاللّهِ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنتُمْ تَفْتَرُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یہ ان (بتوں) کے لئے جن (کی حقیقت) کو وہ خود بھی نہیں جانتے اس رزق میں سے حصہ مقرر کرتے ہیں جو ہم نے انہیں عطا کر رکھا ہے۔ اللہ کی قسم! تم سے اس بہتان کی نسبت ضرور پوچھ گچھ کی جائے گی جو تم باندھا کرتے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And they (even) assign, to things they do not know, a portion out of that which We have bestowed for their sustenance! By Allah, ye shall certainly be called to account for your false inventions.

| 2. [16:57] | WayajAAaloona lillahi albanatisubhanahu walahum ma yashtahoona | ويجعلون لله البنات سبحانه ولهم ما يشتهون وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلّهِ الْبَنَاتِ سُبْحَانَهُ وَلَهُم مَّا يَشْتَهُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یہ (کفار و مشرکین) اللہ کے لئے بیٹیاں مقرر کرتے ہیں وہ (اس سے) پاک ہے اور اپنے لئے وہ کچھ (یعنی بیٹے) جن کی وہ خواہش کرتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And they assign daughters for Allah! - Glory be to Him! - and for themselves (sons,- the issue) they desire!

[16:62] | WayajAAaloona lillahi mayakrahoona watasifu alsinatuhumu alkathiba annalahumu alhusna la jarama anna lahumu alnnarawaannahum mufratoona | ويجعلون لله ما يكرهون وتصف ألسنتهم الكذب أن لهم الحسنى لا جرم أن لهم النار وأنهم مفرطون وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلّهِ مَا يَكْرَهُونَ وَتَصِفُ أَلْسِنَتُهُمُ الْكَذِبَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ الْحُسْنَى لاَ جَرَمَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ الْنَّارَ وَأَنَّهُم مُّفْرَطُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور وہ اللہ کے لئے وہ کچھ مقرر کرتے ہیں جو (اپنے لئے) ناپسند کرتے ہیں اور ان کی زبانیں جھوٹ بولتی ہیں کہ ان کے لئے بھلائی ہے، (ہرگز نہیں!) حقیقت یہ ہے کہ ان کے لئے دوزخ ہے اور یہ (دوزخ میں) سب سے پہلے بھیجے جائیں گے (اور اس میں ہمیشہ کے لئے چھوڑ دیئے جائیں گے) | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They attribute to Allah what they hate (for themselves), and their tongues assert the falsehood that all good things are for themselves: without doubt for them is the Fire, and they will be the first to be hastened on into it!
