| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [41:23] | Wathalikum thannukumuallathee thanantum birabbikum ardakumfaasbahtum mina alkhasireena |  وذلكم ظنكم الذي ظننتم بربكم أرداكم فأصبحتم من الخاسرينوَذَلِكُمْ ظَنُّكُمُ الَّذِي ظَنَنتُم بِرَبِّكُمْ أَرْدَاكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم مِّنْ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور تمہارا یہی گمان جو تم نے اپنے رب کے بارے میں قائم کیا، تمہیں ہلاک کر گیا سو تم نقصان اٹھانے والوں میں سے ہو گئے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "But this thought of yours which ye did entertain concerning your Lord, hath brought you to destruction, and (now) have ye become of those utterly lost!"

[46:25] | Tudammiru kulla shay-in bi-amri rabbihafaasbahoo la yura illa masakinuhumkathalika najzee alqawma almujrimeena | تدمر كل شيء بأمر ربها فأصبحوا لا يرى إلا مساكنهم كذلك نجزي القوم المجرمين تُدَمِّرُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ بِأَمْرِ رَبِّهَا فَأَصْبَحُوا لَا يُرَى إِلَّا مَسَاكِنُهُمْ كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْقَوْمَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (جو) اپنے پروردگار کے حکم سے ہر شے کو تباہ و برباد کر دے گی پس وہ ایسے (تباہ) ہو گئے کہ ان کے (مِسمار) گھروں کے سوا کچھ نظر ہی نہیں آتا تھا۔ ہم مجرم لوگوں کو اِس طرح سزا دیا کرتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Everything will it destroy by the command of its Lord!" Then by the morning they - nothing was to be seen but (the ruins of) their houses! thus do We recompense those given to sin!

[49:6] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooin jaakum fasiqun binaba-in fatabayyanoo an tuseebooqawman bijahalatin fatusbihoo AAala mafaAAaltum nadimeena | يا أيها الذين آمنوا إن جاءكم فاسق بنبإ فتبينوا أن تصيبوا قوما بجهالة فتصبحوا على ما فعلتم نادمين يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن جَاءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌ بِنَبَإٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوا أَن تُصِيبُوا قَوْمًا بِجَهَالَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا عَلَى مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَادِمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ایمان والو! اگر تمہارے پاس کوئی فاسق (شخص) کوئی خبر لائے تو خوب تحقیق کر لیا کرو (ایسا نہ ہو) کہ تم کسی قوم کو لاعلمی میں (ناحق) تکلیف پہنچا بیٹھو، پھر تم اپنے کئے پر پچھتاتے رہ جاؤ | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O ye who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what ye have done.

| 4. [54:38] | Walaqad sabbahahum bukratanAAathabun mustaqirrun | ولقد صبحهم بكرة عذاب مستقر وَلَقَدْ صَبَّحَهُم بُكْرَةً عَذَابٌ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک اُن پر صبح سویرے ہی ہمیشہ قائم رہنے والا عذاب آپہنچا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Early on the morrow an abiding Punishment seized them:

[67:5] | Walaqad zayyanna alssamaaalddunya bimasabeeha wajaAAalnaharujooman lilshshayateeni waaAAtadna lahumAAathaba alssaAAeeri | ولقد زينا السماء الدنيا بمصابيح وجعلناها رجوما للشياطين وأعتدنا لهم عذاب السعير وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَابِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَاهَا رُجُومًا لِّلشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ السَّعِيرِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بے شک ہم نے سب سے قریبی آسمانی کائنات کو (ستاروں، سیاروں، دیگر خلائی کرّوں اور ذرّوں کی شکل میں) چراغوں سے مزیّن فرما دیا ہے، اور ہم نے ان (ہی میں سے بعض) کو شیطانوں (یعنی سرکش قوتوں) کو مار بھگانے (یعنی ان کے منفی اَثرات ختم کرنے) کا ذریعہ (بھی) بنایا ہے، اور ہم نے ان (شیطانوں) کے لئے دہکتی آگ کا عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And we have, (from of old), adorned the lowest heaven with Lamps, and We have made such (Lamps) (as) missiles to drive away the Evil Ones, and have prepared for them the Penalty of the Blazing Fire.

| 6. [67:30] | Qul araaytum in asbaha maokumghawran faman ya/teekum bima-in maAAeenin | قل أرأيتم إن أصبح ماؤكم غورا فمن يأتيكم بماء معين قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَصْبَحَ مَاؤُكُمْ غَوْرًا فَمَن يَأْتِيكُم بِمَاءٍ مَّعِينٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | فرما دیجئے: اگر تمہارا پانی زمین میں بہت نیچے اتر جائے (یعنی خشک ہو جائے) تو کون ہے جو تمہیں (زمین پر) بہتا ہوا پانی لا دے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "See ye?- If your stream be some morning lost (in the underground earth), who then can supply you with clear-flowing water?"

| 7. [68:17] | Inna balawnahum kamabalawna as-haba aljannati ith aqsamoolayasrimunnaha musbiheena | إنا بلوناهم كما بلونا أصحاب الجنة إذ أقسموا ليصرمنها مصبحين إِنَّا بَلَوْنَاهُمْ كَمَا بَلَوْنَا أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ إِذْ أَقْسَمُوا لَيَصْرِمُنَّهَا مُصْبِحِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بے شک ہم ان (اہلِ مکہ) کی (اُسی طرح) آزمائش کریں گے جس طرح ہم نے (یمن کے) ان باغ والوں کو آزمایا تھا جب انہوں نے قَسم کھائی تھی کہ ہم صبح سویرے یقیناً اس کے پھل توڑ لیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Verily We have tried them as We tried the People of the Garden, when they resolved to gather the fruits of the (garden) in the morning.

| 8. [68:20] | Faasbahat kaalssareemi | فأصبحت كالصريم فَأَصْبَحَتْ كَالصَّرِيمِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | سو وہ (لہلہاتا پھلوں سے لدا ہوا باغ) صبح کو کٹی ہوئی کھیتی کی طرح ہوگیا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | So the (garden) became, by the morning, like a dark and desolate spot, (whose fruit had been gathered).

[61:14] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanookoonoo ansara Allahi kama qala AAeesaibnu maryama lilhawariyyeena man ansaree ilaAllahi qala alhawariyyoona nahnuansaru Allahi faamanat ta-ifatun minbanee isra-eela wakafarat ta-ifatun faayyadnaallatheena amanoo AAala AAaduwwihim faasbahoothahireena | يا أيها الذين آمنوا كونوا أنصار الله كما قال عيسى ابن مريم للحواريين من أنصاري إلى الله قال الحواريون نحن أنصار الله فآمنت طائفة من بني إسرائيل وكفرت طائفة فأيدنا الذين آمنوا على عدوهم فأصبحوا ظاهرين يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا كُونُوا أَنصَارَ اللَّهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ لِلْحَوَارِيِّيْنَ مَنْ أَنصَارِي إِلَى اللَّهِ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحْنُ أَنصَارُ اللَّهِ فَآمَنَت طَّائِفَةٌ مِّن بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَكَفَرَت طَّائِفَةٌ فَأَيَّدْنَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا عَلَى عَدُوِّهِمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا ظَاهِرِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ایمان والو! تم اللہ کے مددگار بن جاؤ جیسا کہ عیسٰی بن مریم (علیہما السلام) نے (اپنے) حواریوں سے کہا تھا: اللہ کی (راہ کی) طرف میرے مددگار کون ہیں؟ حواریوں نے کہا: ہم اللہ کے مددگار ہیں۔ پس بنی اسرائیل کا ایک گروہ ایمان لے آیا اور دوسرا گروہ کافر ہوگیا، سو ہم نے اُن لوگوں کی جو ایمان لے آئے تھے اُن کے دشمنوں پر مدد فرمائی پس وہ غالب ہوگئے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O ye who believe! Be ye helpers of Allah: As said Jesus the son of Mary to the Disciples, "Who will be my helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the disciples, "We are Allah's helpers!" then a portion of the Children of Israel believed, and a portion disbelieved: But We gave power to those who believed, against their enemies, and they became the ones that prevailed.

| 10. [68:21] | Fatanadaw musbiheena | فتنادوا مصبحين فَتَنَادَوا مُصْبِحِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر صبح ہوتے ہی وہ ایک دوسرے کو پکارنے لگے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | As the morning broke, they called out, one to another,-

| Yousuf Ali | And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,-

| 12. [81:18] | Waalssubhi ithatanaffasa | والصبح إذا تنفس وَالصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور صبح کی قَسم جب اس کی روشنی آنے لگے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And the Dawn as it breathes away the darkness;-

| 13. [100:3] | Faalmugheerati subhan | فالمغيرات صبحا فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا | |||||

| Yousuf Ali | And push home the charge in the morning,
