| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [33:30] | Ya nisaa alnnabiyyi manya/ti minkunna bifahishatin mubayyinatin yudaAAaflaha alAAathabu diAAfayni wakana thalikaAAala Allahi yaseeran |  يا نساء النبي من يأت منكن بفاحشة مبينة يضاعف لها العذاب ضعفين وكان ذلك على الله يسيرايَا نِسَاءَ النَّبِيِّ مَن يَأْتِ مِنكُنَّ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍ يُضَاعَفْ لَهَا الْعَذَابُ ضِعْفَيْنِ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اے اَزواجِ نبیِ (مکرّم!) تم میں سے کوئی ظاہری معصیت کی مرتکب ہو تو اس کے لئے عذاب دوگنا کر دیا جائے گا، اور یہ اﷲ پر بہت آسان ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O Consorts of the Prophet! If any of you were guilty of evident unseemly conduct, the Punishment would be doubled to her, and that is easy for Allah.

[33:40] | Ma kana muhammadun abaahadin min rijalikum walakin rasoola Allahiwakhatama alnnabiyyeena wakana Allahubikulli shay-in AAaleeman | ما كان محمد أبا أحد من رجالكم ولكن رسول الله وخاتم النبيين وكان الله بكل شيء عليما مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ وَلَكِن رَّسُولَ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تمہارے مَردوں میں سے کسی کے باپ نہیں ہیں لیکن وہ اللہ کے رسول ہیں اور سب انبیاء کے آخر میں (سلسلۂ نبوت ختم کرنے والے) ہیں، اور اللہ ہر چیز کا خوب علم رکھنے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.

[33:37] | Wa-ith taqoolu lillatheeanAAama Allahu AAalayhi waanAAamta AAalayhi amsik AAalaykazawjaka waittaqi Allaha watukhfee fee nafsika maAllahu mubdeehi watakhsha alnnasa waAllahuahaqqu an takhshahu falamma qadazaydun minha wataran zawwajnakahalikay la yakoona AAala almu/mineena harajunfee azwaji adAAiya-ihim itha qadawminhunna wataran wakana amru Allahi mafAAoolan | وإذ تقول للذي أنعم الله عليه وأنعمت عليه أمسك عليك زوجك واتق الله وتخفي في نفسك ما الله مبديه وتخشى الناس والله أحق أن تخشاه فلما قضى زيد منها وطرا زوجناكها لكي لا يكون على المؤمنين حرج في أزواج أدعيائهم إذا قضوا منهن وطرا وكان أمر الله مفعولا وَإِذْ تَقُولُ لِلَّذِي أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ وَاتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ وَتَخْشَى النَّاسَ وَاللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَاهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى زَيْدٌ مِّنْهَا وَطَرًا زَوَّجْنَاكَهَا لِكَيْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌ فِي أَزْوَاجِ أَدْعِيَائِهِمْ إِذَا قَضَوْا مِنْهُنَّ وَطَرًا وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ مَفْعُولًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (اے حبیب!) یاد کیجئے جب آپ نے اس شخص سے فرمایا جس پر اللہ نے انعام فرمایا تھا اور اس پر آپ نے (بھی) اِنعام فرمایا تھا کہ تُو اپنی بیوی (زینب) کو اپنی زوجیت میں روکے رکھ اور اللہ سے ڈر، اور آپ اپنے دل میں وہ بات٭ پوشیدہ رکھ رہے تھے جِسے اللہ ظاہر فرمانے والا تھا اور آپ (دل میں حیاءً) لوگوں (کی طعنہ زنی) کا خوف رکھتے تھے۔ (اے حبیب! لوگوں کو خاطر میں لانے کی کوئی ضرورت نہ تھی) اور فقط اللہ ہی زیادہ حق دار ہے کہ آپ اس کا خوف رکھیں (اور وہ آپ سے بڑھ کر کس میں ہے؟)، پھر جب (آپ کے متبنٰی) زید نے اسے طلاق دینے کی غرض پوری کرلی، تو ہم نے اس سے آپ کا نکاح کر دیا تاکہ مومنوں پر ان کے منہ بولے بیٹوں کی بیویوں (کے ساتھ نکاح) کے بارے میں کوئی حَرج نہ رہے جبکہ (طلاق دے کر) وہ ان سے بے غَرض ہو گئے ہوں، اور اللہ کا حکم تو پورا کیا جانے والا ہی تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Behold! Thou didst say to one who had received the grace of Allah and thy favour: "Retain thou (in wedlock) thy wife, and fear Allah." But thou didst hide in thy heart that which Allah was about to make manifest: thou didst fear the people, but it is more fitting that thou shouldst fear Allah. Then when Zaid had dissolved (his marriage) with her, with the necessary (formality), We joined her in marriage to thee: in order that (in future) there may be no difficulty to the Believers in (the matter of) marriage with the wives of their adopted sons, when the latter have dissolved with the necessary (formality) (their marriage) with them. And Allah's command must be fulfilled.

[33:38] | Ma kana AAala alnnabiyyimin harajin feema farada Allahu lahusunnata Allahi fee allatheena khalaw min qablu wakanaamru Allahi qadaran maqdooran | ما كان على النبي من حرج فيما فرض الله له سنة الله في الذين خلوا من قبل وكان أمر الله قدرا مقدورا مَّا كَانَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ مِنْ حَرَجٍ فِيمَا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ لَهُ سُنَّةَ اللَّهِ فِي الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِن قَبْلُ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ قَدَرًا مَّقْدُورًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر اس کام (کی انجام دہی) میں کوئی حرج نہیں ہے جو اللہ نے ان کے لئے فرض فرما دیا ہے، اللہ کا یہی طریقہ و دستور اُن لوگوں میں (بھی رہا) ہے جو پہلے گزر چکے، اور اللہ کا حکم فیصلہ ہے جو پورا ہوچکا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | There can be no difficulty to the Prophet in what Allah has indicated to him as a duty. It was the practice (approved) of Allah amongst those of old that have passed away. And the command of Allah is a decree determined.

[33:43] | Huwa allathee yusalleeAAalaykum wamala-ikatuhu liyukhrijakum mina alththulumatiila alnnoori wakana bialmu/mineena raheeman | هو الذي يصلي عليكم وملائكته ليخرجكم من الظلمات إلى النور وكان بالمؤمنين رحيما هُوَ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَلَائِكَتُهُ لِيُخْرِجَكُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ وَكَانَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَحِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہی ہے جو تم پر درود بھیجتا ہے اور اس کے فرشتے بھی، تاکہ تمہیں اندھیروں سے نکال کر نور کی طرف لے جائے اور وہ مومنوں پر بڑی مہربانی فرمانے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He it is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that He may bring you out from the depths of Darkness into Light: and He is Full of Mercy to the Believers.

[33:50] | Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyuinna ahlalna laka azwajaka allateeatayta ojoorahunna wama malakat yameenuka mimmaafaa Allahu AAalayka wabanati AAammika wabanatiAAammatika wabanati khalika wabanatikhalatika allatee hajarna maAAaka waimraatanmu/minatan in wahabat nafsaha lilnnabiyyi in aradaalnnabiyyu an yastankihaha khalisatanlaka min dooni almu/mineena qad AAalimna ma faradnaAAalayhim fee azwajihim wama malakat aymanuhumlikayla yakoona AAalayka harajun wakana Allahughafooran raheeman | يا أيها النبي إنا أحللنا لك أزواجك اللاتي آتيت أجورهن وما ملكت يمينك مما أفاء الله عليك وبنات عمك وبنات عماتك وبنات خالك وبنات خالاتك اللاتي هاجرن معك وامرأة مؤمنة إن وهبت نفسها للنبي إن أراد النبي أن يستنكحها خالصة لك من دون المؤمنين قد علمنا ما فرضنا عليهم في أزواجهم وما ملكت أيمانهم لكيلا يكون عليك حرج وكان الله غفورا رحيما يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِنَّا أَحْلَلْنَا لَكَ أَزْوَاجَكَ اللَّاتِي آتَيْتَ أُجُورَهُنَّ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُكَ مِمَّا أَفَاءَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ وَبَنَاتِ عَمِّكَ وَبَنَاتِ عَمَّاتِكَ وَبَنَاتِ خَالِكَ وَبَنَاتِ خَالَاتِكَ اللَّاتِي هَاجَرْنَ مَعَكَ وَامْرَأَةً مُّؤْمِنَةً إِن وَهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ إِنْ أَرَادَ النَّبِيُّ أَن يَسْتَنكِحَهَا خَالِصَةً لَّكَ مِن دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا فَرَضْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ فِي أَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ لِكَيْلَا يَكُونَ عَلَيْكَ حَرَجٌ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے نبی! بیشک ہم نے آپ کے لئے آپ کی وہ بیویاں حلال فرما دی ہیں جن کا مہَر آپ نے ادا فرما دیا ہے اور جو (احکامِ الٰہی کے مطابق) آپ کی مملوک ہیں، جو اللہ نے آپ کو مالِ غنیمت میں عطا فرمائی ہیں، اور آپ کے چچا کی بیٹیاں، اور آپ کی پھوپھیوں کی بیٹیاں، اور آپ کے ماموں کی بیٹیاں، اور آپ کی خالاؤں کی بیٹیاں، جنہوں نے آپ کے ساتھ ہجرت کی ہے اور کوئی بھی مؤمنہ عورت بشرطیکہ وہ اپنے آپ کو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے نکاح) کے لئے دے دے اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم بھی) اسے اپنے نکاح میں لینے کا ارادہ فرمائیں (تو یہ سب آپ کے لئے حلال ہیں)، (یہ حکم) صرف آپ کے لئے خاص ہے (امّت کے) مومنوں کے لئے نہیں، واقعی ہمیں معلوم ہے جو کچھ ہم نے اُن (مسلمانوں) پر اُن کی بیویوں اور ان کی مملوکہ باندیوں کے بارے میں فرض کیا ہے، (مگر آپ کے حق میں تعدّدِ ازواج کی حِلّت کا خصوصی حکم اِس لئے ہے) تاکہ آپ پر (امتّ میں تعلیم و تربیتِ نسواں کے وسیع انتظام میں) کوئی تنگی نہ رہے، اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا بڑا رحم فرمانے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess;- in order that there should be no difficulty for thee. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[33:69] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola takoonoo kaallatheena athaw moosafabarraahu Allahu mimma qaloo wakanaAAinda Allahi wajeehan | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تكونوا كالذين آذوا موسى فبرأه الله مما قالوا وكان عند الله وجيها يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ آذَوْا مُوسَى فَبَرَّأَهُ اللَّهُ مِمَّا قَالُوا وَكَانَ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَجِيهًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ایمان والو! تم اُن لوگوں کی طرح نہ ہوجانا جنہوں نے موسٰی (علیہ السلام) کو (گستاخانہ کلمات کے ذریعے) اذیت پہنچائی، پس اللہ نے انہیں اُن باتوں سے بے عیب ثابت کردیا جو وہ کہتے تھے، اور وہ (موسٰی علیہ السلام) اللہ کے ہاں بڑی قدر و منزلت والے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O ye who believe! Be ye not like those who vexed and insulted Moses, but Allah cleared him of the (calumnies) they had uttered: and he was honourable in Allah's sight.

[33:73] | LiyuAAaththiba Allahu almunafiqeenawaalmunafiqati waalmushrikeena waalmushrikatiwayatooba Allahu AAala almu/mineena waalmu/minatiwakana Allahu ghafooran raheeman | ليعذب الله المنافقين والمنافقات والمشركين والمشركات ويتوب الله على المؤمنين والمؤمنات وكان الله غفورا رحيما لِّيُعَذِّبَ اللَّهُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ وَالْمُشْرِكَاتِ وَيَتُوبَ اللَّهُ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (یہ) اس لئے کہ اللہ منافق مَردوں اورمنافق عورتوں اور مشرِک مَردوں اور مشرِک عورتوں کو عذاب دے اور اللہ مومِن مَردوں اور مومِن عورتوں کی توبہ قبول فرمائے، اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا بڑا رحم فرمانے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (With the result) that Allah has to punish the Hypocrites, men and women, and the Unbelievers, men and women, and Allah turns in Mercy to the Believers, men and women: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[33:51] | Turjee man tashao minhunna watu/weeilayka man tashao wamani ibtaghayta mimman AAazalta falajunaha AAalayka thalika adna an taqarraaAAyunuhunna wala yahzanna wayardayna bimaataytahunna kulluhunna waAllahu yaAAlamu mafee quloobikum wakana Allahu AAaleeman haleeman | ترجي من تشاء منهن وتؤوي إليك من تشاء ومن ابتغيت ممن عزلت فلا جناح عليك ذلك أدنى أن تقر أعينهن ولا يحزن ويرضين بما آتيتهن كلهن والله يعلم ما في قلوبكم وكان الله عليما حليما تُرْجِي مَن تَشَاءُُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُؤْوِي إِلَيْكَ مَن تَشَاءُ وَمَنِ ابْتَغَيْتَ مِمَّنْ عَزَلْتَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكَ ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى أَن تَقَرَّ أَعْيُنُهُنَّ وَلَا يَحْزَنَّ وَيَرْضَيْنَ بِمَا آتَيْتَهُنَّ كُلُّهُنَّ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَلِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (اے حبیب! آپ کو اختیار ہے) ان میں سے جِس (زوجہ) کو چاہیں (باری میں) مؤخّر رکھیں اور جسے چاہیں اپنے پاس (پہلے) جگہ دیں، اور جن سے آپ نے (عارضی) کنارہ کشی اختیار فرما رکھی تھی آپ انہیں (اپنی قربت کے لئے) طلب فرما لیں تو آپ پر کچھ مضائقہ نہیں، یہ اس کے قریب تر ہے کہ ان کی آنکھیں (آپ کے دیدار سے) ٹھنڈی ہوں گی اور وہ غمگین نہیں رہیں گی اور وہ سب اس سے راضی رہیں گی جو کچھ آپ نے انہیں عطا فرما دیا ہے، اور اللہ جانتا ہے جو کچھ تمہارے دلوں میں ہے، اور اللہ خوب جاننے والا بڑا حِلم والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Thou mayest defer (the turn of) any of them that thou pleasest, and thou mayest receive any thou pleasest: and there is no blame on thee if thou invite one whose (turn) thou hadst set aside. This were nigher to the cooling of their eyes, the prevention of their grief, and their satisfaction - that of all of them - with that which thou hast to give them: and Allah knows (all) that is in your hearts: and Allah is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing.

[33:52] | La yahillu laka alnnisaomin baAAdu wala an tabaddala bihinna min azwajinwalaw aAAjabaka husnuhunna illa ma malakatyameenuka wakana Allahu AAala kulli shay-inraqeeban | لا يحل لك النساء من بعد ولا أن تبدل بهن من أزواج ولو أعجبك حسنهن إلا ما ملكت يمينك وكان الله على كل شيء رقيبا لَا يَحِلُّ لَكَ النِّسَاءُ مِن بَعْدُ وَلَا أَن تَبَدَّلَ بِهِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَاجٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ حُسْنُهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُكَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ رَّقِيبًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اس کے بعد (کہ انہوں نے دنیوی منفعتوں پر آپ کی رضا و خدمت کو ترجیح دے دی ہے) آپ کے لئے بھی اور عورتیں (نکاح میں لینا) حلال نہیں (تاکہ یہی اَزواج اپنے شرف میں ممتاز رہیں) اور یہ بھی جائز نہیں کہ (بعض کی طلاق کی صورت میں اس عدد کو ہمارا حکم سمجھ کر برقرار رکھنے کے لئے) آپ ان کے بدلے دیگر اَزواج (عقد میں) لے لیں اگرچہ آپ کو ان کا حُسنِ (سیرت و اخلاق اور اشاعتِ دین کا سلیقہ) کتنا ہی عمدہ لگے مگر جو کنیز (ہمارے حکم سے) آپ کی مِلک میں ہو (جائز ہے)، اور اللہ ہر چیز پر نگہبان ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | It is not lawful for thee (to marry more) women after this, nor to change them for (other) wives, even though their beauty attract thee, except any thy right hand should possess (as handmaidens): and Allah doth watch over all things.

[33:59] | Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyuqul li-azwajika wabanatika wanisa-ialmu/mineena yudneena AAalayhinna min jalabeebihinna thalikaadna an yuAArafna fala yu/thayna wakanaAllahu ghafooran raheeman | يا أيها النبي قل لأزواجك وبناتك ونساء المؤمنين يدنين عليهن من جلابيبهن ذلك أدنى أن يعرفن فلا يؤذين وكان الله غفورا رحيما يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَاجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَاءِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِن جَلَابِيبِهِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى أَن يُعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے نبی! اپنی بیویوں اور اپنی صاحبزادیوں اور مسلمانوں کی عورتوں سے فرما دیں کہ (باہر نکلتے وقت) اپنی چادریں اپنے اوپر اوڑھ لیا کریں، یہ اس بات کے قریب تر ہے کہ وہ پہچان لی جائیں (کہ یہ پاک دامن آزاد عورتیں ہیں) پھر انہیں (آوارہ باندیاں سمجھ کر غلطی سے) ایذاء نہ دی جائے، اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا بڑا رحم فرمانے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

| Tahir ul Qadri | سوائے ابلیس کے، اس نے (شانِ نبوّت کے سامنے) تکبّر کیا اور کافروں میں سے ہوگیا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith.

[48:4] | Huwa allathee anzala alssakeenatafee quloobi almu/mineena liyazdadoo eemanan maAAaeemanihim walillahi junoodu alssamawatiwaal-ardi wakana Allahu AAaleeman hakeeman | هو الذي أنزل السكينة في قلوب المؤمنين ليزدادوا إيمانا مع إيمانهم ولله جنود السماوات والأرض وكان الله عليما حكيما هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوا إِيْمَانًا مَّعَ إِيْمَانِهِمْ وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہی ہے جس نے مومنوں کے دلوں میں تسکین نازل فرمائی تاکہ ان کے ایمان پر مزید ایمان کا اضافہ ہو (یعنی علم الیقین، عین الیقین میں بدل جائے)، اور آسمانوں اور زمین کے سارے لشکر اﷲ ہی کے لئے ہیں، اور اﷲ خوب جاننے والا، بڑی حکمت والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | It is He Who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the Believers, that they may add faith to their faith;- for to Allah belong the Forces of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom;-

[48:5] | Liyudkhila almu/mineena waalmu/minatijannatin tajree min tahtiha al-anharukhalideena feeha wayukaffira AAanhum sayyi-atihimwakana thalika AAinda Allahi fawzan AAatheeman | ليدخل المؤمنين والمؤمنات جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها ويكفر عنهم سيئاتهم وكان ذلك عند الله فوزا عظيما لِّيُدْخِلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَيُكَفِّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ عِندَ اللَّهِ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (یہ سب نعمتیں اس لئے جمع کی ہیں) تاکہ وہ مومن مردوں اور مومن عورتوں کو بہشتوں میں داخل فرمائے جن کے نیچے نہریں رواں ہیں (وہ) ان میں ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں۔ اور (مزید یہ کہ) وہ ان کی لغرشوں کو (بھی) ان سے دور کر دے (جیسے اس نے ان کی خطائیں معاف کی ہیں)۔ اور یہ اﷲ کے نزدیک (مومنوں کی) بہت بڑی کامیابی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | That He may admit the men and women who believe, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein for aye, and remove their ills from them;- and that is, in the sight of Allah, the highest achievement (for man),-

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور آسمانوں اور زمین کے سب لشکر اﷲ ہی کے لئے ہیں، اور اﷲ بڑا غالب بڑی حکمت والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | For to Allah belong the Forces of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom.

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور آسمانوں اور زمین کی باشاہت اﷲ ہی کے لئے ہے، وہ جسے چاہتا ہے بخش دیتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے عذاب دیتا ہے، اور اﷲ بڑا بخشنے والا بے حد رحم فرمانے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills: but Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بہت سے اموالِ غنیمت (بھی) جو وہ حاصل کر رہے ہیں، اور اﷲ بڑا غالب بڑی حکمت والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And many gains will they acquire (besides): and Allah is Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom.

| 18. [48:21] | Waokhra lam taqdiroo AAalayhaqad ahata Allahu biha wakana AllahuAAala kulli shay-in qadeeran | وأخرى لم تقدروا عليها قد أحاط الله بها وكان الله على كل شيء قديرا وَأُخْرَى لَمْ تَقْدِرُوا عَلَيْهَا قَدْ أَحَاطَ اللَّهُ بِهَا وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور دوسری (مکّہ، ہوازن اور حنین سے لے کر فارس اور روم تک کی بڑی فتوحات) جن پر تم قادر نہ تھے بیشک اﷲ نے (تمہارے لئے) ان کا بھی احاطہ فرما لیا ہے، اور اﷲ ہر چیز پر بڑی قدرت رکھنے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And other gains (there are), which are not within your power, but which Allah has compassed: and Allah has power over all things.

[48:24] | Wahuwa allathee kaffa aydiyahumAAankum waaydiyakum AAanhum bibatni makkata min baAAdi anathfarakum AAalayhim wakana Allahubima taAAmaloona baseeran | وهو الذي كف أيديهم عنكم وأيديكم عنهم ببطن مكة من بعد أن أظفركم عليهم وكان الله بما تعملون بصيرا وَهُوَ الَّذِي كَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ عَنْهُم بِبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ مِن بَعْدِ أَنْ أَظْفَرَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور وہی ہے جس نے سرحدِ مکّہ پر (حدیبیہ کے قریب) ان (کافروں) کے ہاتھ تم سے اور تمہارے ہاتھ ان سے روک دیئے اس کے بعد کہ اس نے تمہیں ان (کے گروہ) پر غلبہ بخش دیا تھا۔ اور اﷲ ان کاموں کو جو تم کرتے ہو خوب دیکھنے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And it is He Who has restrained their hands from you and your hands from them in the midst of Makka, after that He gave you the victory over them. And Allah sees well all that ye do.

[48:26] | Ith jaAAala allatheena kafaroofee quloobihimu alhamiyyata hamiyyata aljahiliyyatifaanzala Allahu sakeenatahu AAala rasoolihi waAAalaalmu/mineena waalzamahum kalimata alttaqwa wakanooahaqqa biha waahlaha wakana Allahubikulli shay-in AAaleeman | إذ جعل الذين كفروا في قلوبهم الحمية حمية الجاهلية فأنزل الله سكينته على رسوله وعلى المؤمنين وألزمهم كلمة التقوى وكانوا أحق بها وأهلها وكان الله بكل شيء عليما إِذْ جَعَلَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الْحَمِيَّةَ حَمِيَّةَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَأَنزَلَ اللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ وَعَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَلْزَمَهُمْ كَلِمَةَ التَّقْوَى وَكَانُوا أَحَقَّ بِهَا وَأَهْلَهَا وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جب کافر لوگوں نے اپنے دلوں میں متکبّرانہ ہٹ دھرمی رکھ لی (جو کہ) جاہلیت کی ضِد اور غیرت (تھی) تو اﷲ نے اپنے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اور مومنوں پر اپنی خاص تسکین نازل فرمائی اور انہیں کلمہء تقوٰی پر مستحکم فرما دیا اور وہ اسی کے زیادہ مستحق تھے اور اس کے اہل (بھی) تھے، اور اﷲ ہر چیز کو خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | While the Unbelievers got up in their hearts heat and cant - the heat and cant of ignorance,- Allah sent down His Tranquillity to his Messenger and to the Believers, and made them stick close to the command of self-restraint; and well were they entitled to it and worthy of it. And Allah has full knowledge of all things.

| Tahir ul Qadri | سو انہوں نے اپنے کئے کا وبال چکھ لیا اور اُن کے کام کا انجام خسارہ ہی ہوا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Then did they taste the evil result of their conduct, and the End of their conduct was Perdition.

| Tahir ul Qadri | بے شک یہ تمہارا صلہ ہوگا اور تمہاری محنت مقبول ہوچکی | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Verily this is a Reward for you, and your Endeavour is accepted and recognised."
